The service and food was incredible. Caleb was our server and he was personable and explained all the specials. We only ate the... specials that day and were blown away. The best sushi experience I’ve had was at Nobu and this was on the same level! Veryimpressed. Read more

167 sushi was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was by far the best sushi I've ever had. The service was great,... drinks were great. Very small but so comfortable. There is such a variety of dishes and everything was incredible. You couldbring that friend who won't eat the raw stuff and they will still have a great time. I live 1,000 miles away and can't wait togo back. Read more

Went in for a quick bite to eat. We enjoyed a Lager, Crab Rangoon roll, and shrimp tempura roll. Pros: 1. Great ambiance 2.... Delicious food uniquely made Cons: 1. Very small restaurant 2. You are PAYING for the quality food. #Expensive but well worthit. Read more

We decided to try to see if we could get a table. Thankfully someone canceled. Best food in Charleston. We had dumplings, ... blackened bass and the sushi special. Portions are not huge but just enough. I'm so glad we chanced it. Read more

This is not a traditional Japanese restaurant and I usually don't like fusion, but the flavors here were actually exceptional!... The chef managed to combine authentic flavors in a new way that was surprising yet familiar. The salmon tartare had a greatyuzu flavor and the milk bread base was perfectly toasted. The wagyu skewers were amazing. The duck Confit was my favorite.Very crispy skin and very soft meat. I recommend getting the poached egg to mix into the rice. The soba noodles were a littleweaker. The vinegar sauce was good, but the noodles were just not fresh enough and therefore a bit mushy. Still goodthough! Overall, amazing place, I definitely recommend! Read more

Great sushi ???? with a flare of elegance. They had big eye tuna, sea bass and a few others as their fish of the day. The... nigiri and sashimi were fresh and staff was laid back. Location is on the small side but everyone was super friendly. Read more

My wife and I went on a date lunch today at 167 Sushi Bar. One word - Insane. This is the smaller sister restaurant on 289... East Bay Street. We made a reservation online (recommended) and sat at the Sushi Bar. This is not a traditional Shushi bar likeSHIKI which we love. 167 Sushi is a modern take on Japanese Sushi with a twist. It simply is insane. We had Foie Gras with aGerman red wine, Monk fish with an Austrian Sauvignon Blanc. Uni, Mackarel, Oysters etc. But what this place really sets apartis the staff and service. Having worked in the Hospitality/Restaurant industry for many years, I truly appreciate theconversation and recommendations by the staff. We love this place and will be back. Go there, enjoy and tell your friends. Read more
