Really great Mexican food!! We were visiting Harper's Ferry when we chanced upon this restaurant next to the grocery store.... We're from Colorado and Mexican cuisine is one of our favorites. Took us long enough to visit Mi Degollado in Charles Town, WV after moving to the area over 1 year ago...but finally we did and... we are glad and happy! The food is awesome and tasty, priced correctly and fair (to our opinion) and the service is incredible,friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back more often from now on. I walked in and no one was there to sit me. I looked around and a young employee allowed me to sit in the booth that I selected.... Then I sat there awhile, and he came back and realized... I asked for a menu. The chips and salsa was good. Chips are thickerand salsa was spicy. The chicken soup was very light but so good. There was a lot of chicken with the right amount of rice. Theflavor was light. I ordered the shrimp fried chimichanga; never had it before. The shrimp were a good size. It was pretty good.I thought the flour tortilla would be crunchy. It was lightly fried. The refried beans was cold, not sure why since the platewas hot. There is something strange about the sour cream. It tasted funny to me, but I rarely eat sour cream.
