Decent barbecue to get if you are in town. Really liked the hush puppy that food comes with. I got the taco as well and it was... really good. Read more

Tried pulled pork, brisket, ribs and pig cheek, and 4 sides. All great. Sprouts and shrooms is a wonderful side of Brussels... sprouts. And mushrooms in a unique slightly chili sauce. All sides are bowls so buy to share. Read more

WOW ???? Definitely in the top 5% of barbecue that I've ever had in North Carolina! Had a barbecue plate and I would do it again... in a heartbeat! Read more

Gotta be NC bbq. Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and vinegar sauce will have you questioning the laws of physics... and any... other laws you are accustomed to. I could eat here 7 days a week but they closed Sunday. Good atmosphere and better food. If youfrom any corner of NC you'll appreciate this place. Read more

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is perfect if you want to order your food, sit down , have minimal... interaction and eat excellent BBQ. Their brisket was melt in your mouth, the cole slaw was very good (not too mayo), homemadepickles were incredible, hush puppies were the best I?ve ever had (very crispy but moist on the inside), and their nachos wereunreal. I went to The Pit in Durham, and that was more expensive and just not as good as The Pig. I highly suggest you come hereand give it a try. Read more

The food is adequate but no flavor. The best thing on my BBQ Plate was the homemade pickles. The worst hush puppies I have ever... had as they were shaped like curly fries and were hard as bricks. Had to throw them away but ate the BBQ and pickles. I'll haveto stick to City Barbeque and The Blue Note Grill. Read more

The BBQ itself was good as was the cider vinegar sauce, but I was underwhelmed by the rest. .. The fried green tomatoes were... coated in breadcrumbs that tasted like Italian breadcrumbs. They were greasy and tough. I could barely cut them with aknife. The hushpuppies are not round so they soak up more grease to batter. they are like long like french fries. There werecold and tough. They taste like squiggles of grease. The slaw obviously has a lot of mustard or tumeric to make it that yellow. Read more
