I love this place. The pot roast, fried chicken, deviled eggs, and banana pudding are my favorites. My wife loves the chopped... salad and tomato soup. Service is friendly and they actually seem to care about their customers. No it?s not the cheapest placearound but I?ll never understand why people complain about paying a fair price for locally sourced, delicious food. If you wantKFC or other fast food then by all means you should go there. I for one appreciate knowing that my food didn?t come as a frozenpatty or from a factory farm. Read more

My wife and I visited the new Sadie's Southern for the first time at lunch today. We were very pleasantly surprised by the whole... experience. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was terrific! For starters we had the mushroom soup. It wasdelicious. I am not a Southerner so I can't know all the ins and outs of fried chicken, but what they served me was the best Ihave had since I moved to NC. Far superior to what I was served at Mama Dips which is supposed to be great. My wife had theshrimp salad sandwich and loved it. I could write a whole review just about the fabulous French fries. These were some of thebest we have ever had in our 70 years on the planet. We will definitely return. My one word of advice to the owners is to createa website for the restaurant, and establish a presence on TripAdvisor and maybe Open Table. It was hard to find info on theplace.
