Reviews for Que Chula Craft Tacos & Tequila Bar in Chapel Hill, NC
We had the enchiladas with blue corn tortillas and were blown away from all the flavor. My boyfriend said his top shelf marg was... top notch. Service was great! Fun environment with Latin music. Read more
Such a fun place to go for dinner. Came here with my gf's family and we each found something to enjoy on the menu. My gf & I... each found yummy vegan options, and everyone else was able to find other great items. The cocktails are also very tasty &unique. Read more
The review is from the perspective of a vegetarian guy, who loves spicy food. The food here was OK, we tried vegetarian... Flautas, they were decent. They serve complimentary bowl of nachos with salsa which were more tasty then the Flautas. They havemany non veg options to try. The staff and the service was good. Can try out this place for more menu items. Read more
Great food, fun atmosphere, margarita was a tad sweet, but otherwise a great choice to satisfy a craving for tacos. We... especially liked that the chips were substantial (no breaking off in the salsa) and you get your own salsa bowl! Read more
This review is mostly based on service and wait time. Firstly, the food was great and can't complain. Judging based on that it... would probably be 5 stars. But when we got to the restaurant, we first were turned away from sitting outside when requested, with the staff stating they would rather put us inside. We got to the restaurant at 7:45 and didn't get our food until 8:30. Thestaff was accommodating during our wait and we went through 4 rounds of chips until we finally got our food. But this long waitreally put a damper on our groups mood. Hopefully this wait issue is a one off thing and will not be an issue next time. Read more
Good food, medium service. Getting a table was very chaotic. I think there was something wrong with their electronic system... because it seemed like tables were open when they weren’t, so there was confusion with getting people seated. We opted to waitto sit indoors rather than immediately sit outside. The wait was about 40 minutes, which is aligned to what they told us itwould be. It’s a text system where they will send you a text when your table is ready. There was a huge selection of food anddrinks. I’m gluten free, so it was easy to substitute the corn tortillas for the tacos. They also said the chips were glutenfree. The chips and salsa were brought with water right away. The salsa is the best I’ve had in a while. The tacos were verytasty and the rice & beans had surprise beef or something at the bottom. The spices they used were excellent. The classicmargarita was good and the mango margarita was good but a little too sweet. Would definitely recommend! Read more
We randomly stopped here for lunch before our show at the planetarium and were not disappointed. They had fantastic service and... a great, clean atmosphere. The food was delicious and they had quite a few gluten free and vegetarian options for me to boot.Plus they were able to make something for my picky eater, which was a huge surprise. Very pleased and will definitely be backwhen we come back to the area. Read more
This place was fantastic! The aesthetic of this restaurant is a beautiful thing. The colors are vibrant and the art is stunning... with what portrays mexican culture beautifully (from what I know). The restaurant looks very clean and great places to sitinside, at the bar, or outside. The food on the menu with pictures was helpful, but so hard to choose as they all looked andsounded delicious--the food also looked as artistically prepared and the restaurant itself! The staff were friendly andinviting. They greet you and bring a bowl of chips and salsa! I went with Que Chula Asada tacos and beans and a wonderfullyprepared cantarito that took me back to Tequila, Mexico! Read more
