We have been going to this restaurant for years. It has been consistent, the food is always fresh and good, and it's always been... a very good value. Recently, I started looking at Mexican restaurants for lunch, and I found Guanajuanto did not disappoint.I've included a picture of both the lunch I got and the receipt. For just over $10 this is a very good value, and I reallyenjoyed it. It was the lunch special, with a poblano and a beef enchilada. I chose beans only. Excellent food, Excellent Drinks, Excellent service. Great atmosphere! I've been here twice. Once during lunch mid week and it... was fantastic. Then tonight Friday for dinner. Although the place was very busy the service was realky quick and exceeded myexpectations. The only bad thing I have to say is they give you unlimited fresh hot tortilla chips which I ordered queso for andate so many of the chips that I couldn't eat much of my dinner. Their crispy beef tacos are the best I've had. And you can't go wrong with the lamb shank, very tasty and tender -- I'm sorry... but that alone makes up for all the complaints you see in the reviews. Most restaurants have (2) sizes of queso so if you don?t want to spend $4.99 you can spend $2.25 but no. Not thisrestaurant. They were really aggressive about it and that made me not feel irritated III. They also offer a lunch portion atmost restaurants even during dinner times. This restaurant does not. ? The queso tastes bland ? Rice is very good, nicequality and texture ? Chicken w cheese quesadilla just tastes awful and not worth a $19.99 meal. 2021. Even during 2020?s shut down they were able to stay open and retain their staff! This is a no frills restaurant but the... food is amazing and staff is on the ball. Servings are generous. 2019 The restaurant really has become our go to for Mexicanfood. Always fresh and delicious. Good pricing and of course generous portions so we always have leftovers. Typical American iced Mexican restaurant. Good, fast service. Very little flavor. Was disappointed in the salsa. The... enchilada filling was cheddar cheese instead of Mexican white cheese.
