Food is good but don't trust the prices you may find online. Also, the person behind the bar had personal food and drink that... they were actively eating. That is a health code violation. Never saw her wash her hands after eating then serving peoplesitting there. Read more

Super yummy! Big, greasy, cheesy burger... yummy, healthy, robust salad... and the gluten free bun was delicious! My partner and... I got Gov's as carryout for a staycation date night. We each got a burger, and split the superfood salad, and it was perfect. Wewill definitely be going back for seconds! Read more

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gov's Burger and Tap tonight! I had seen in a separate post that they have heated... outdoor dining and I am always game to try a good burger. They exceeded all expectations! Best burger and fries that I've had inChapel Hill! Before you ask, yes, I've been to Al's, Town Hall, Four Corners, Carolina Brewery, etc. Gov's Burger and Tap willbe my go-to from now on. Despite the 43 degree weather, we requested a table outside. With a smile, they invited us to sitoutside and immediately lit the heaters. The bacon cheddar burger was delicious! Perfectly cooked burger and extra crispy bacon.Even without dipping sauce, the fries were great, and I was shocked by the amount. I'm not sure what's in their house aioli, butWOW! ???? I would eat that on anything! Beyond that, the service was fantastic. The owner, Carmine, came out to check on usmultiple times and was so welcoming! I am disappointed that we waited so long to try this great spot. We can't wait to visitagain! Read more
