I was debating between a 3 or a 4 star but bumped it up due to the service and the vibes of the place, which are both really... great. Now with the food - don?t get me wrong. It?s a solid burger but it?s nothing home to write about. It has good flavoroverall but usually when I pay a hefty price for a burger and fries, I want it to be a kind of burger that a home chef can?tnormally imitate at home. Fast-ish food, satisfying burgers, great fries! I would skip the Paco, not because it?s bad, but because it isn?t a great... topping combo for a burger- you can barely taste the avocado and the jalepenos aren?t that flavorful, but the patty itself (andbun and classic burger toppings) are wonderful! If you have one or two people with you, split a plate of large fries! Therosemary isn?t super strong, but it?s well seasoned and super crispy. I think they?re the best fries I?ve ever had. Read more

Best burger in the area? Maybe..! Employees were nice and courteous. Burger was cooked to perfection (ordered medium... rare) Flavor was GREAT! Fries were just good, but the rosemary and flaky salt elevated it a bit. All in all, definitely animmediate favorite in the area! Will be coming back! Read more
Al's Burger Shack offers delicious burgers, fries, and great service! You order inside their tiny kitchen and can eat outside... under a open, but covered seating area or an uncovered area that has more picnic tables. When we sat down at a picnic table,staff immediately offered us a portable propane heater which was really nice on a cold night! They many delicious burgeroptions, including the classic burger with tomato, lettuce, and onion. They also offer a turkey burger, fried chicken, or sweetpotato, black bean, and oat patty. The sweet potato patty was delicious and the sweet potato fries were crispy and saltedperfectly, so the fries weren't overwhelmingly sweet. The large fries are a ton of fries--more than enough for two people toshare! My husband ordered the classic burger and said it was the best burger he's had, that it's "the burger that other burgerswant to be." :) All staff were wearing face masks, which was great to see. We will definitely visit Al's again because theyoffer great food and excellent service. Read more
Delicious food and a fun atmosphere! I had the Kenny J, and it was great! Perfectly sized and cooked. 100% would order again.... Friends and I split some sweet potato fries and tots - both great choices. Local craft beer was a real plus as well. Read more
After reading Al's Burged shack had the #1 burger in the US according to trip advisor and Food & Wine magazine I decided to give... it a try. No frills burger shack with a few burger, dog, and fry options. I got the classic and the bobo (chili & cheese) aswell as an order of fries. Ordering area was a little chaotic as it was small and crowded in there and they forgot to call outmy order. But eventually I got it and the burgers were good. Not amazing, nothing to write home about so the "#1 burger" titlewas a little disappointing. 4 stars! Read more
