Great service and very good flavor... I got an untraditional kabob, salmon. I prefer my salmon cooked a little less but the... flavors were fabulous, rice was fluffy, and the chickpeas were cooked perfectly, on the softer side. They provide two sauces, agarlic sauce and zhoug. I definitely preferred the zhoug which was full of cilantro and slightly spicy. The garlic sauce was toomayo-ey for me. The quality of food is good though the taste isn?t outstanding. The store has that warm welcome vibe and very clean. However,... the price of portion served was definitely seconding my future visit. A casual take on Middle-Eastern fusion food! They have a pretty large menu accomodating a large audience, from traditional... Middle Eastern dishes, vegetarian dishes, and dishes with an American twist them. I really enjoyed the sauces that complementedmy steak kabob and fries with the spices! Not what it used to be. I loved this spot when it first opened. It was a great quick lunch stop where you ordered at the counter... and waited for a few minutes (like 4-5) to get your meal to dine in or take to go. Prices were fair and food was great. Starkcontrast now. The prices have jumped to $16.43 (including tax) for one chicken kabob plate, no drink, apps, or dips. Their wasno one dining there and no line and it took 13 minutes to get food. Seems like they have turned more into a sit down restauranttype spot with those types of prices and waits, which is fine, but not what you expect at a location with a walk up to ordercounter. Definitely liked it better before this shift. The food is great and vibrant, it just feels like it?s having an identitycrisis as a restaurant. *response to the restaurant reply- I have ordered delivery to my office multiple times, but, deliveryprices and tipping make the price for one meal now absolutely bonkers so I will not be doing that ever again. The last time Iattempted to order through the online ordering system for pick up, it was not working. I put in my order and got all the way tothe payment portion and it just wouldn?t go through or give me any confirmation that it had or hadn?t processed. After fightingwith it for a while, closing out and retrying twice with a different card and then waiting to see if an email was coming throughwith a confirmation?the whole time in fear that I may have accidentally ordered multiple times? I did just call to find out ifit had gone through, which it hadn?t, and placed my order via phone. All in all my recent experiences have just been quitenegative in all regards (except food taste) which is highly disappointing because I really did enjoy eating there before. This is an Afghan owned family oriented halal restaurant. The owner is a generous and kind hearted man looking to please all... patrons. The food portions are satiating and the quality is better than most other kabob chains. The prices are also verycompetitive. The restaurant has a great ambiance.
