Chicken Lollipops were out of this world! You can?t forget the sauce, it?s a game changer! Service was amazing as well, :?) we... wanted fried rice with our orders and originally the sesame/general tso chicken only come with white rice but the waiter waskind enough to provide us with fried rice with the order :) Fried rice was good, we just wish the general tso/sesame chickenhad more masala/spice to it! They have started offering LUNCH SPECIALS... starting at $6.95 and for people in the area, we know that this price is a no brainer these days with food prices on the rise.Plus the serving wasn't bad at all. I got the chicken & broccoli fried rice with 2 wings and honestly it's good for 2 regularappetite people or 3 people on a *low* carb diet. Surprisingly the food didn't taste too horrible either. It was "good". Don'texpect Desi Bethak taste because for what you pay, it's actually worth getting for lunch. Check out their updated menu and foodpics attached for reference. Despite both google and yelp claiming the restaurant closes at 10PM, we were denied service for dine in even after reaching... 40min prior to closing time. The attendant claimed the restaurant closes at 9:30PM even though I showed him both yelp and googlebusiness time. Anyway, we ordered chicken lollipop and soup to go, and the chicken was raw and cold underneath. Sagar seems to get a bad rep around here but I don't agree with it. Since this location opened, I've been here 3-4 times and... have not been disappointed at any visit. The quality has been consistent in my experience and the food is flavorful withgenerous portions. The staff are also friendly and prompt. I don't eat halal only and can say this place is better than yourstandard Chinese takeout and your standard Indian restaurant with indo-chinese offerings. Desi food in general in the DMV isvery hit or miss and inconsistent quality-wise. I usually get the masala chow mein and masala fried rice, both extra spicy.It's always been good. I also got the chicken lollipop this time - that felt off. It was on the salty side and the dipping saucedid no favors. They seem to have changed the recipe and I probably won't order it again. This won't be the best food you everhave, but it definitely will satisfy your indo-chinese cravings. If you order extra spicy, it's going to be SPICY. I recommendgiving it a chance. Read more

Needed to explore Indo-Chinese restaurants when we bumped into Sagar. Taste could have been better. The Manchurian Balls were... very dry, we couldn?t eat them at all. Hakka Noodles was good , but still didn?t meet out taste expectations. Vegetable Chilliwas very much undercooked. And my friends tried Chicken Fired-rice, they said everything was undercooked and chicken was verydry. Since I am vegetarian, I couldn?t make a great judgment on chicken dishes. If you are looking for Bangladeshi style Chinese food, then this place is definitely for you! We love their food. We tried... Chicken lollipop, Thai soup, Momo, Wonton, fried rice, chicken sizzling, beef sizzling, philly cheesesteak, mughlai, polao,roast and mango lassi and all of the food are really yummy! It is a clean restaurant with very helpful staffs. We love to havetheir food again and again. Highly recommended! Read more
