Very basic place to chomp. Tried El Diablo and Spicy Salmon. Tastes are good, flavorful. Chicken is crispy. Good level of heat... (actually spicy). Salmon tasted as if there were some bones left - could just be the seeds and such. Diablo tasted fresherthan SS. I think a dollar less would be a fair pricing due to portion size but we\'re living in an inflation world atm. Definitely will come back to try the spams and eggs and chicken. Read more

Located between Verizon and Thai Thyme! Such a great place with HUGE musubi\'s. The store itself is so cute with a kiosk... available for ordering if you don\'t feel like socializing *which is a huge plus for me* They have a great selection of musubiand bowls which I couldn\'t decide from so my friend and I ordered every single musubi from the menu. The Diablo is myfavourite, second is OG, & lastly the shrimp tempura. But honestly they\'re all so good and filling. The owners areAsian/Polynesian owned women ??? who are absolutely so sweet. 10/10 will be back and checking out the tysons location next ! -IG @ SpicyAivy Read more

I ended up here by accident. It used to be Pokeworks and I came for a sushi bowl. But this was here and so was I, so I figured... I\'d give it a whirl.\n\nFirst, the miso soup is just onions and tofu. No seaweed. Okay....\n\nI ordered the orange chickenmusubi. I was expecting that amazing orange chicken flavor. I got, the most bland thing I\'ve ever had in my life. No orangeflavor, it was like a minced up chicken stew with zero flavor. ZERO. Not even soy sauce could save it.\n\nMost concering, isdespite the paper bag and recyclable cardboard box it came in, the musubi was wrapped in plastic wrap. Then cut. So I had littlepieces of plastic wrap all in my food.\n\nThis place is not going to last long without some serious menu tweaks and some safetytraining. Read more

It’s so nice to have another snack spot like this in the area. The shrimp tempura and teriyaki musubis were our favorite but... everything was tasty. The staff was friendly and food came out quick. Read more

I love spam masubi and was excited about this place. I got the egg and spam masubi and it did not disappoint. Then I also tried... the California roll masubi, that one could use a lot of improvement. There\'s no sauce added so it\'s pretty bland. There\'salso too much rice. They could maybe put some soy sauce and wasabi on the side. Then the avocado wasn\'t ripe, still tough andchewy. Don\'t plan to get that one again. Read more

Being from Hawaii I have high standards. I’m super stoked that a Hawaiian food place opened up. The food is okay, the rice is... extremely mushy and I just couldn’t enjoy the rest of my meal. I’m interested in trying the Manapua “steamed bun”, butthis rice is a no go!! Sushi rice or whatever rice should never be this mushy and I’ve read in other comments that this was anissue. If you’re going to emulate food from other cultures take the approach with authenticity. The flavor and rice was notgood and if anyone ever goes to Hawaii order one musubi or one plate lunch I guarantee you you’ll see what I’m trying tosay. Read more

The musubis are huge! Half is enough to fill me for lunch. I ordered online for pickup and they were pretty quick. Easy meal to... feed the family. I was surprised when the teriyaki chicken and the orange chicken also had a slice of spam in it. It wasdefinitely an interesting combination. Also got their teriyaki chicken and pork buns, which were delicious. Read more

The food was tasty. Unfortunately, the customer service was nonexistent.\n\nWe came in at 730pm on a Saturday and felt that we... were not welcomed at all.\nThe place wasn\'t busy, and we were the only ones there. The crew rushed to the dining area, didn\'tsay a word to us, and closed the dining room and restroom. It felt that they just wanted to get out of there quickly. I askedwhat time they close and they said 9pm. I don\'t understand why a food establishment wants to make its customers feel likethey\'re an inconvenience. Sad.\n\nMaybe it was just a bad night? Maybe going there earlier would be different? Read more
