So fresh and delicious! It won't be fast because everything is prepared fresh when you order it, so order soup(it's delicious)... to tide you over while your food is being made. I had potato pancakes, pierogi, cooked cabbage and everything was fantastic. My wife had the redneck chicken and it also was very good. We enjoyed our dinner here- I had the pork chop which was really a schnitzel- really good. The sauerkraut with ham, bacon, etc... was a good side as well. Interestingly, the beer menu contains some unique beers- I tried a honey beer that was just awesome.Overall a good meal- and everything was made from scratch. Read more

Hands down my favorite local restaurant. Growing up on the southwest side of Chicago, Polish food was a part of the culture and... was easily accessible. Since, moving I was saddened to realize that there was nothing available or even close to what wasavailable. That is until this "Delightful" restaurant showed up. Delicious homemade food. AMAZING! Local family Business, Freshly made Everything, and the service was so personable and appreciated! We ordered the fresh... made to order seasoned potato chips with dipping sauce. Fresh Polish sausage, smoked sausage, potato and cheddar cheese perogi,and saurkraut. And a Loaf of bread to go. Portion size was large and would satisfy any big appetite. What can I say, it wasworth waiting a little bit. Not only was everything made to order, each menu item is made from Scratch. Love this place and wehave found a new little spot for home cooked food. Delight Wish European Restaurant is awesome! Thanks for a wonderful meal!The soup was amazing! All three of us loved it! My... daughter ordered the country burger with everything on it. She?s a very picky eater, so I gave her my pork chop and ate herburger. Both were delicious! My daughter loved the pork chop! The country burger was huge, unique, tasty, and served on a freshbun from their bakery! The French fries were incredible too. My son ordered the kiszka. Something to be appreciated: This place is so unique in every way from the tables to the meals themselves. Everything is made... right there and you can actually see them preparing your meal in the kitchen. I had the highlander porkchop and it had so muchflavor to it... We ordered homemade potato chips and they were the best friggin chips I have ever had. We picked up a few Eurochocolate bars on the way out and they were great too. Owners are really wonderful people who bring a great culture with themand I am thankful they share their food too! Please give these guys a visit. You can only get this quality of food from a family owned restaurant. Servers are very polite and the eating area is shiny... clean. Every thing we ordered was a dining pleasure. Pork Chop (Escalopes), White Borsch, White Polish Sausage and Pierogi wasour meal. Everything was full of flavor with good portions. I cannot really do the food justice except just saying it is aawesome meal in every way. Also a large selection of alcohol is available.
