Fantastic food with some great ambiance. Good portion of food with great quality as well. Cauliflower and Brussel sprouts were... great. The French fries were one of the best. Light fluffy and crispy. Pineapple rice was yummy and very unique. The breadpudding dessert was amazing and really unique with a special cinnamon bourbon sauce. Will be coming here again! Read more
In an effort to find oysters. We found this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. The service was extremely slow. They were... out of oysters. Our waitress was attentive but she really needed some help. Other customers felt the same as they took theirchecks to the bar for payment. The food was good and presented well. The Cesar salad was light on the dressing and we had towait for more. The 48 hour Nashville chicken was good and the lobster Mac and cheese was delicious. I changed the slaw for avegetable but it was soybeans so I passed on that. I ordered the lime rice and it was good. Since my partner ordered salad itwould have been nice to have alternative vegetable choices. We ordered drinks as well. They were tasty. Overall for theexperience it was not enjoyable for the wait or price of $75. Read more
Wow! Food was excellent but our service was not. We were asked where we’d like to sit and we took the high top table near the... bar which meant the bartender waited on us. Bad deal. We had to wait a long time for everything we got. (Long waits) We werepatient but it was very difficult. I’d much rather give a good review but in this case, I just can’t. We waited and wewaited. Bar and grill with a Pacific coast feel. The food is well portioned and beautiful, I almost hated to eat it. However, I overcame... and cleaned the plate. The shrimp was just slightly overcooked, but tasty none the less The Seared Ahi fantastic. Then wefinished our meal with the whisky pudding cake. I was very full and satisfied. Great job Smokin Fins! Third time coming here, and had a great experience each time. The brunch is on the weekends and is delicious! Had the Lobster... Benedict and was to die for. The sushi is also great. This past visit I had the side of Lobster Mac n Cheese, Smoky Fries and aglass of Chardonnay and it was all delicious and the perfect servings, all in all I spent $34 before tip. Sometimes the serviceis slow when sitting outside, but the food is worth it! Read more
Absolutely love the decor in this restaurant. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. We went with 3 appetizers (Kickin... Shrimp, Lobster Avocado, and Pork Potstickers). Each one was beautifully plated, seasoned perfectly and extremely flavorful. Ourentree options included; Smoked Mac n Cheese, Cedar Plank Salmon, Vegas sushi roll and the Smokin Fin Supreme. Not onedisappointment here. Great portion sizes and once again incredible flavor. The staff here clearly works well together and areenergetic and friendly. Our waitress, Ashley knew the menu and offered helpful feedback on our selections. Katarina, thebartender mixed a great drink as well. We really enjoyed our meals. We had the Lobster Tater Tots, the Shrimp Scampi Pasta and the smoky Mac and Cheese with Shrimp.... Everything tasted fresh and the servings were generous. We had a couple delicious cocktails. The staff was very friendly. Theatmosphere was nice. We sat inside the bar, but there was plenty of fresh air on a beautiful day. Really cool atmosphere, our server Kevin was attentive and on top of our table. I ordered the lucky platter and you could taste... the old grease. My shrimp was fried with the fries were obviously fried in a different oil because they were edible but theshrimp was on another level greasy and unpleasant tasting. Sushi roll was good. Bummed because the other photos and reviewslooked so good! I would probably try it again but I don't live in Phoenix so probably not ???? Read more
