I guess this is sadly what you get when you order birria tacos. I actually had some good birra there a couple weeks ago so I?m... extra disappointed by this. I've searched far and wide to find the best tacos in the South East Valley. Something that could hold up against the venerable... Tacos El Gordo in San Diego and Vegas. At last, my search might be over. Up until now, the best ones have always been fromrandom carnicerias. But, I stopped into this place randomly after passing it, and am so glad I did. The meat is delicious, thetortillas are outstanding. The plate comes with random extras like sauteed onions and the grilled jalapeno. The tacos arereasonably large for street tacos. The slightly more expensive tacos are big and satisfying and full of food. The salsas arevaried and delicious. Someone's said this place is more expensive than other places? I dunno....my tacos were only 2$ a popand they didn't skimp on filling. Other people ordered burritos, and they were huge and way above par... My only complaint isthey don't have buche, my favorite. I got lengua, pastor and cabeza tho and was not disappointed. Restaurant was very cleanand service was excellent. My family and I placed an order to go last night. We called the order 30 mins prior to us picking it up and I was super... disappointed. This taco place looked really good and I had order 4 tacos for myself, 4 for my kids and our carne asada so dry,even after adding lime and chili. My husband had got 2 shrimp tacos and 2 fish tacos and the portions they have were so small.We had 3 bottled cokes and they forgot to add them to order we didn?t go back because we live about 20 mins out. We couldn?t geta refund for the cokes the store wouldn?t allow it. Overall our whole order was about 100.00 and it was not worth it. Read more
