Tried the BBQ burritos and they were amazing! A little worried about all the flavors meshing but it was perfection. The burrito... is grilled so it's got a crispness on the outside which is lovely. The fries are so good, a mix between steak fry and curly fry.Left feeling very full but delighted, they also gave us delicious cornbread before our food. We will definitely be back again. Read more
We had a great dinner at Pork on a Fork in Chandler. This place definitely knows BBQ! The portion of my platter is HUGE, with... chopped and juicy pork and tender brisket. BBQ-bowl is very creative, the taste is even better when I mixed the corn bread in.Our server is really nice, the whole restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Would love to come back to try the chicken. For $20, the portions were smaller than expected. But, the brisket was flavorful and good. The pulled pork was ok, but there was... not a lot of smokey flavor. The cornbread was good. The mac'n'cheese was creamy, but not cheesey at all and I didn't care forthe seasoning that was sprinkled on top. The servers were friendly. Food, friendlyness and priced fairly! Please give this spot a try before buying into these negative reviews. I too was upset... when they weren't open and had just the food truck. But all good things are worth the wait! I got a bowl with pulled pork andthere was so much food I have lunch for tomorrow. We also got a brisket sandwich a side of fries and cornbread muffins. It wasdelicious, our food was hot and nicely seasoned. The location was clean and well lit and more of a sit down restaurant comparedto most bbq places where you walk up and grab your tray. Short version: great muffins, hot food, fall-off-the-bone ribs, lip-smacking good. Longer version: we've been to a few BBQ... joints and by far POAF has been the best. There is ample parking, a large spacious patio, and the inside is just a wide openspace for plenty of diners - and there's even a washing station! Our server came quickly to our table to get drink / appetizerorders. He was very congenial and talkative, especially after discovering it was our first visit. He was very attentive to ourneeds, heck, he brought me a whole new glass of bubbly before my first glass was half down. That's excellent service in mybook! The corn muffins were mouth watering, the ribs were perfectly cooked and seasoned, as were the beans.
