We love Modern Margarita so much. We have been going to the new location at least twice a week since the opened. Our last time... there I got a taco I have ordered many times before but it didn?t taste right. The bartender noticed my reaction to it andoffered to get me another one. The manager came over to talk to me about it. When I told him I?ve had that taco many timesbefore but this one didn?t taste right, like the meat was bad, assured me he checks the line 2x a day and smells all the meatbefore it?s cooked. He kept going on and on about how there is no way anything was wrong with it. I finally just said ?Ok? andstopped talking to him because it got so uncomfortable. He also was making fun of a thin woman at the end of the bar. Callingher a skeleton behind her back. I love the location. I was so excited to have something trendy! Margaritas are great! Food is great! The service is so horribly... slow that we question going back. We waited 37 minutes to get drinks at a bar that was not full. Even longer for refills. Andnot friendly bartenders at all. We hoped for a neighborhood place where people would know our names. Def not that. But yummyfood. We?ve been 3 times so far and had the same experience. Will try again. Read more
Unimpressive first visit. We arrived on a non-busy Thurs happy hour. Sat for about 15 minutes before asking a server (who had... passed by us several times) if there was a server for our table. She went to get another server as we were not her table. Wewere just about to leave and walk over to the Tryst but wanted to try some food. After ordering a margarita, which was about 3-4sips with all the ice, we ordered a couple appetizers. We waited over 30 minutes to get the food. Whatever was on the steaktacos gave it a musty after taste, maybe too much cilantro? But seriously tasted like soap. Loaded fries and tostadas were good.Our server was friendly. They charge a card fee. $60 dollars later we should have went to the Tryst. Bummer because we were soexcited to try Modern margarita! ???? Read more
Margaritas were so disappointing and we purchased three in different price points and all were equally disappointing. The food... was expensive for the quality. The queso was something other than queso very disgusting. The ambiance and decor were great! Overall was hopeful for a better experience. Read more

I was so excited to hear we had a local margarita place coming. I have been three times and the food is great, the margarita... are great (wish they were larger three sipes and your pretty much done) and the decor is spot on. However, the reason for onlyone star is the service is terrible. Bartender was not personable all three times I have been there. I will tell you if theservice and worker are not great this place won?t survive and I really want to see it survive! I hope management can retrainthese workers. Read more
