Their menu is great. Lots of choices, especially for a small, local bar. Perfect neighborhood spot. Open late. Kichen open until... 11pm. The pulled pork sandwich with side of potato salad is what I usually get but my husband ordered the fish and chips & thefish was amazing. Read more
Our first visit won't be our last. We'd rate them 4.5 if we could. Cool local bar feel with various sports on the TVs. We... each had the fish fry and it was delicious! Potato salad and seasoned fries were great, they serve Coke Zero ???? and theservice was wonderful! The only mark downs were that we would have preferred an AYCE fish fry and their purple coleslaw wasvery peppery. We're already looking forward to trying the Walleye next time. Read more
FED MOLDY CHEESE(see pictures) As a person who has worked in the food industry for 5+ years there are steps taken every single... day by staff/mangers to ensure this doesn't happen. I understand things happen like over cooked food, under cooked food, anaccidental hair in your food but MOLDY food product?! This is not acceptable. What is also alarming is how the manager who wasstaffed yesterday (4/9/22 approximately 2-3pm) handled the whole situation. This was made aware to him and his response was ?let me throw this out, do you want more garlic parmesan sauce?? Their was no motivation to make the situation better, neverheard an apology nor the courtesy of comping items off our bill. As a server, I would be mortified if this happened to my guestand would ensure the customer was taken care of properly as well as made sure my manager took care of them properly. Oh my, let me tell you about the delicious fried pickles. The batter is amazing. Its like eating a chicken sandwich with a... pickle, but no bread. Amazing. I had the Fried Shrimp basket appetizer, with the same batter - large shrimp- very good. Myfriend DM had a Southwest chicken sandwich and fries that was very tasty! Small cozy place, tv's up, bar area, seating indoor &outdoor. The wait staff was very friendly. They didn't mention a change in side would be an upcharge, so I was surprised at thebill. The sit-to-beer time is fastest in the Valley. Very friendly and fast service. The environment is lively with many repeat... locals. The temperature is always cooooool. BTW, food is good too. My favorite are the salads, tater tots and zucchini. Read more
