Reviews for Farmboy Market, Meats, Sandwiches in Chandler, AZ
I honestly can't believe this place isn't packed every time I come in. Incredible food for decent prices and supporting local... business. There's nothing not to love. I personally recommend the BBQ Breakfast Burrito, best I've ever had and it's become mymorning crave for the last few weeks. Read more
Outstanding. Love the variety on the menu of different smoked meats?not just your typical bbq place. The scent of meat smoking... created a pleasant ambiance. Especially loved the homey market-place in the front corner, milk, eggs, OJ, dry goods. A realgem, for sure. Read more
What an amazingly refreshing experience Farmboy provided for a rainy afternoon lunch! I was trying to find unique places to eat... in Chandler because I was in the area running errands. This place popped up on Yelp and I saw some pretty tasty sandwiches. So Ifigured I would check it out. At first sight, I thought it was awfully small and tucked away in this huge business area. Butwhen I was parking the truck, I got a running whiff of some mesquite grilling! I knew I chose the right place. When I walked in,everything was spectacularly laid out in a market style shopping area. The lady up front greeted me right away and welcomed meto try some delicious favorites of hers from the menu. I chose the three AZ slider burgers with a side of Mac and cheese. WhileI patiently waited for my food to be cooked from scratch, I took a gander of the drink options and was pleasantly surprised tonot find any soda or carbonated beverages. Instead the drink options were all fresh berry and green drinks, such as blood redwith pomegranate and turmeric. It was sweet and a little tangy but so refreshing! Once the sliders came to my table, I was againpleasantly surprised to find that they did not use ice burg lettuce, which has no nutritional value, but instead they usedarugula. That combined with the white cheddar cheese I chose and topped with carmelized onion made for an incredible savoryburger. It was more than worth it and a great surprise to know hat everything is made using fresh ingredients from farms allaround Arizona. The Mac and cheese was homemade and was creamy and smooth, topped with grated cheese. I would definitely comeback for more eats, especially on the weekends when they rotate their meats in the grill and smoker to include brisket, spareribs and prime rib. Read more
First time there, had the Cuban. Top notch! Everything looks fresh. Everything smoked in house, sourced locally. Little farmers... market in the front where you can buy local goods and fresh broth! Probably more a 4.5 for me. People get on this place! Itdeserves your attention. Read more
Very disappointed in the food, service and presentation. We were so excited to try a local place. The girl that took our order... seemed bored and disinterested. Tried asking a couple of questions looking for recommendations she didn't have an opinion.(Like "What is that great smell?" Her: "I don't know, it all smells the same to me.") Meat on the sandwiches was thin and chewyand I ended up spitting out about 1/3 of it since it was really just gristle. Sides were tiny. 2 sandwiches with standard sides($1.69 for 3 soggy cucumber slices and a couple of tomato chunks) and 2 drinks was over $30. Food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the money. Read more
