If you're like me - every now and then, you crave a good diner breakfast. The type of place you can go solo and enjoy a good... meal. Well, Chase's Diner checks all of the boxes. I arrived on a Saturday morning around 10 am and it was quite busy.Fortunately, there was one table for 3 available at that time. I was seated quickly and my drink order was taken immediately.The coffee was good and they kept it coming! There is a lot on the menu, so me and some friends decided to share some things.The green chile burrito (Hot) was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. I have a high tolerance for heat and it had justthe right amount. So if you can't take hot stuff, I wouldn't recommend that burrito. The french toast is airy and delicious, thethick cuts of bread were cooked perfectly. Lastly, the apple pie was so good, they will warm it up for you upon request. Itwasn't too sweet and had a delicious crust. Service was great considering how busy it was. Never felt like I was waiting torequest anything because servers check in on a sufficient cadence. Had eggs, pancakes, and bacon - food was delicious, and perfectly cooked all the way around. Diner was busy (12:30pm Saturday)... but we got seated immediately, and the service was quick and friendly. Loved the experience and definitely loved the food !! Food portions is huge so be prepared to take the leftover and prices just... amazing, went with my husband for brunch and got a skillet for myself and my husband got a French toast with the sides andeverything was huge and we weren't able to finish it and paid about $35 !! Chances upon this 50s diner place. Went here for breakfast. So happy that it gives me the nice fun 50s old school feel, like... those in the movies. Ordered garden skillet. Love it. Read more
I usually go for breakfast. Prices avg. at about $15 for a breakfast, $20 with a drink, plus a tip. They do have a breakfast... combo special for about $10 with tax. Food is good and there are lots of choices. Very popular place, especially on a Saturdaymorning. Sometimes there is a wait for a table. Service is usually friendly and quick, but sometimes I feel rushed by the serverto leave as soon as I finish eating. I understand that servers need tips and need to turn the tables, but sometimes customerswant to sit at their table and talk for a bit while they finish their coffee and catch up with friends. I always add more to mytip if we linger a little, but I still expect the server to fill water and coffee until we leave. Read more
2nd Time trying this place and my husband loves it!!!! I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak (pictured below) and it didn?t have... much flavor (for me) but our waiter had no problem making sure I enjoyed my food so I replaced it with a waffle (also below) Itwas Delicious! What a great experience. The family owned business treats you like a member of their family. Our server Jen was accommodating... to our needs and offered great recommendations for breakfast. Their theme was great and you an see the owner walking aroundand greeting guests and making sure each customer is happy with their experience. The food was delicious and definitelyrecommend the corn beef hash. When you leave don't forget to get the carrot cake and/or bread pudding. I can't wait to goagain!! Read more
