Can't stop smoking long enough to make your own sides? Jokes aside, my pulled pork was shredded so fine I honestly think it was... in a blender or mixer at some point. It's entirely missing bark or flavor, I think it might be held in a water bath forhours? Mac and cheese tasted like it came from the bulk emergency foods you can buy at Costco. Canned green beans and breadthat came from a plastic bag were also part of the meal. Cornbread was almost hard enough on top to crack a tooth on Thebrisket was the best of our options that we ordered. It could use a better bark, but was overall good. They didn't have halfchicken, whole chicken or turkey breast. The chicken breast was alright it was pretty dry at the ends but the center wasokay. We were also disappointed to see styrofoam plates and cups because not only are they terrible for the environment, theyare incredibly flimsy. I love the atmosphere but they seem to be short handed. 15 min wait for a lunch special is too long to wait. Ive been here... before and enjoyed it more. I ordered the pulled pork lunch special. They serve it dry and you can add regular or spicy BBQsauce. It is good and simple and the includes a small drink. The 3 stars is because the wait and then when it was delivered tothe table the plate was tossed on my table and the top bun fell off and landed on the table which was very sticky and did notseem clean despite me being the first customer of the day. Revised to 5 stars due to the quick response from management. Thisshows they do care and I am confident it was a fluke that I had a less than great experience my last visit. We ordered to go family picnic, which said feeds 4, but I think 2 of them must be children. They don't give you plates for to go... family picnic, so you can't really eat it as a picnic unless you bring your own plates. Service is TERRIBLE!! They forgot my BBQsauce and the meat was very dry. Allegedly, the meat by the pound is "cooked weight" per the staff in store and when I called toverify, but they shorted me on my meat and only gave me 13.3 oz, yes, I weighed it! Out of rolls so only corn breadavailable. Did I mention the terrible service? Apple cobbler had apples that didn't even taste baked. I was so excited to have great BBQ. I was so very disappointed ???? the meat was dry and salty. They only gave us two small 1oz... containers of bbq sauce... it would have made a blah meal better to have had more sauce. The Mac and cheese honestly, a box isbetter. Now there gravy was good ????and homemade tasting,there potatoes may be box lol. The corn muffin was great with honey.Unfortunately I would never pay for food from here again. ???? made me so sad it's wasn't good and mad that we waisted money.There was mac and cheese in the middle of my potato ???? We did a pickup order and it was ready in about 15 minutes, quite fast! The employee who helped us at the register was very... friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant ran out of baby back ribs, so I tried the St. Louis spare ribs. They were quite tastyoverall, but a couple were a bit dry. Pros: food is delivered quickly, the chicken has decent seasoning, and the prices are okay. Cons: the portions aren't huge, the... food isn't great compared to other local restaurants, and the whole restaurant feels dirty. Read more
Unique little place. Service was really good. Order up front and they bring to your table. Guy was super friendly and patient.... We had party of 8 and had lots of questions. And although the line was backing up because of us, he continued with a smile. Foodwas 4 out of 5 stars for me but super good. BBQ sauce was tasty. Service a definite 5 stars. We devoured it all!!!
