If you?re in the mood for genuine authentic Italian this is the place. Wood fired pizzas were cooked very well. margherita pizza... sauce was perfect however the distribution of fresh basil was poorly done. Our other pizza was done correctly from top tobottom. Limoncello was the best digestive drink I?ve had at a restaurant. Panna Cotta was presented nicely and had a goodconsistency. Caesar salad was typical. Cheese and meat board carried a nice variety and their rustic artisan bread was crunchyand flavorful. Overall the food is culturally close. Atmosphere of the place though felt confusing. We weren?t sure with themixture of ?80s music and bar and seating and decor and family seating what nuance was being presented. The only other thing wasour waitperson was very nice but seemed to be having trouble making sure our drinks were being filled, and forgot the seconddrink I?d ordered until we were ready to pay. Incredibly delicious food, friendly staff and great service. Had their Burrata for an appetizer. It came with wilted kale,... apricot jam, house-made bread and balsamic glaze. The plate was delicious. I enjoyed all the different spices in the burrataalong with the apricot jam. The mix of the two was incredible. The balsamic glaze added a little kick, which was delightful. Itwas a decent portion, so it?s a filling appetizer. For my entrée, I had their Shrimp Scampi. I loved the delicious white winelemon sauce along with the shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and meaty. The tomatoes were on the sweet and sour side,which complemented the dish well. The dish was delicious over all and was also a decent portion. Very tangy. I also got to trytheir Gnocchi Gorgonzola. The creaminess on the sauce was unbelievable and flavorful. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and hadthe perfect texture. The pancetta was delicious and its saltiness added lots of flavor to the dish. The arugula refreshed thepalate from all the creamy goodness. To drink I had their Red Sangria. It was delicious, fruity and strong. It was so chillyand refreshing. I recommend. I also had the best server. She was very sweet, patient and attentive. She was very welcoming andmade many recommendations. She knew the menu pretty well and was able to help me decide on what to get since it was my firsttime at their restaurant. I love this restaurant. I guess I'm a bit biased because my daughter works here..lol. HOWEVER the food is delicious and... authentic Italian. I don't live in AZ but every time I visit I have to come here. The atmosphere is relaxed, the owners are sonice and waitstaff are professional. The food...they make their own pasta and cheeses, even homemade vegan cheese. And abeautiful pizza oven.. If you've never been here, you should go. Read more
