Reviews for Mia Za's in Champaign, IL
I did a build your own and it was really good. My wife has celiac and she said her gluten free pizza crust and pizza was also... delicious. Read more
I read the google reviews about Mia Za?s and thought it would be a good choice for pizza since it was down the street from our... hotel. Boy, was I disappointed. The cheese pizza was over cooked and tasted as such. The greek salad wasn?t bad, but it wasbasically a regular spinach salad with ceasar dressing (they did remove the feta and chickpeas I requested). I had to drive toanother place, one that we had originally thought of ordering from, to get another pizza for us to eat. Yes, they may have beenshort staffed, but I would have preferred waiting a few extra minutes to have a properly cooked pizza then simply getting theproduct out the door as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this was a wasted meal! Read more
Was a bit sad they no longer have zoodles. So gluten free is limited to pizza and salad. But awesome to have the option of... customizing it with so many toppings and making it dairy free. Read more
Pizza had a slight burnt taste but it was generally good. The prices are fair and menu had a large variety of Italian American... dishes. Read more
This place is great. The food's made super quickly, and it tastes awesome for the price. I'll definitely be stopping by again.
I got the regular pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was good but too small and the crust was too thin for my liking. Some of the... pizza tasted burnt. Also the plastic bag felt moist even though the box the pizza came in was dry. And there was only one papernapkin which was oily so it wasn?t even clean. I rather get frozen pizza. Edit: Hello owner thanks for the response, and yes Idid go eat with my sibling. However, I do not like how you try to come up with lame explanations to justify my bad experiencewith your business. Yes it was my mistake for ordering "regular" sized pizza for two people. I would have ordered a "large" oneinstead but didn't realize the portions until later. Still, for you to say that people who do not like THIN pizzas should noteat at any traditional Italian Neapolitan pizza restaurant is overstepping it. First of all not everyone on campus is Italian.I'm not Italian, so how am I supposed to know that traditional Italian Neapolitan pizza restaurants serve THIN pizzas. Also, howam I supposed to know that your restaurant is eco-friendly and follows FDA food portion recommendations. Look I was just hungryand wanted pizza. Maybe you should advertise your pizzas as "Small THIN crust charring-burnt traditional Italian Neapolitanpizza" so people like me don't mistake it for oversized American fast food restaurant pizza. I also find it a little weird thatyou try to pin point the exact customer for each bad review. It seems like you have a perfectionist and obsessive attitude overgoogle reviews. Like you've stated, thousands of people like Mia Za's pizza and that's why it has been in business for over 20years. If so many people like it, why waste your time replying to me, one of the few bad reviews. Even worse, you're justtelling me to go to another pizza place which I was going to do anyway. Read more
The first time I went there I was pleased with the chicken Alfredo (pictured). I recently went again and was extremely... disappointed with the same dish. The portion size was completely different even though it was the same exact order. Very littlechicken and toppings. All the noodles were clumpy and the sauce was barely warm. I got a combo with drink and garlic bread, itwas $10. For that much I expected more pasta and toppings. They need to be more consistent if they want to keep people comingback. Read more
Awesome selection of pastas but unfortunately the 2nd time I went there I had a bad experience. There was hair on my Margherita... pizza and the pasta was just ok! Read more
