Reviews for Poke Dessert Bar in Chamblee, GA
Visited on a Monday for lunch with my dad and sister. It wasn't anyone in there. You go to the counter, review the menu and/or... the specials, and then place your order. The guy behind the counter answered our questions and was very efficient in creatingour poke bowls. I ordered the spicy salmon, my sister ordered the spicy tuna, and my dad ended up getting the salmon bc theywere out of spicy salmon, all with a base of half spring mix and half brown rice. It was early in the day so it was odd thatthey were out. The poke bowls looked amazing and just like the pictures. They were even tastier than they looked and veryfilling. While I enjoyed my bowl I was skeptical bc it was raw fish, I know that's odd bc I do enjoy sushi as well. The alsoserve rolled ice cream which I planned to try but was too full from the bowl. I def plan to come back and try the rolled icecream one day. Read more
Came here with my family, they have board games that you can play. Which is a plus. I ordered the milk drink and it was... absolutely disgusting and I asked the guy could I switch it out for something else and he completely refused. Seeing as me andmy family spent a reasonable amount of money there and we were literally the only customers in there I dont think it was anunreasonable request. I will not be visiting again. Located right next to the J's mini hotpot deluxe with plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. It looks like the owner of the J's... mini hotpot also owns this store as well. Inside was pretty cozy and clean. They had few board games like jenga available forcustomers. Service was very slow despite the fact that there were only two parties, including mine, in the store. There were twoworkers there but it seemed like only one of them knew how to make food. Poke bowls turned out to be disappointing. More than85% of the bowl consisted of rice with very little topping on the top layer. Ahi tuna didn't taste fresh either. Drinks wereserved in bulb shaped plastic containers but taste of them didn't impress me. Will visit elsewhere for better drinks, fasterservice, and better poke bowls. Read more
Not a bad dessert place, good quality ice cream but sometimes they schedule only one person and it takes a long time for them to... make orders themselves. Read more
EXCELLENT ice cream rolls!! Bubble tea was delicious as well. Fun, relaxed atmosphere for poke, ice cream, bubble tea, and... other snack foods. Read more
I love this place! Tea drinks, poke bowls, rolled ice cream, even dairy free rolled ice cream! This place does not get the... recognition it deserves. Total diamond in the rough. The strawberry coconut milk tea and dairy free ice cream are highlyrecommended! The place is also owned by the same person that owns J's Mini Hot Pot next door, so you can get coupons for thatwhen you go. Please just give this place a try if you are nearby. They deserve the love. P.S. I believe the photo is of apassion fruit or mango green tea with popping boba. Read more
Tip: They only serve food on the weekends. Their drinks are pretty flavorless but still okay to drink. The only thing I liked... about this place is being able to the drink bubble tea from a light bulb (you get to keep the light bulb). The ice cream rollwas pretty good but nothing too special that differentiates them from other rolled ice cream shops. Read more
