Seating was on the slow side even though there were many open tables, as no one was in the dining area seating folks. I ordered... a cheeseburger hoagie and a side of Fresh Cut Fries. All around the edge of the burger it was burnt and over-cooked. The frieswere absolutely awful. It was like they were a day old sitting under a warmer. They were way over-cooked and tasted like eatingoverdone cardboard. I understand veg. oil prices are high and you are cutting expenses, but your oil needs refreshed too. Yourfries should be cooked when order is placed, not the day or week before. My wife and I ate here a few weeks ago and it waspretty good, today was horrible and we will not be back. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Everything was great here - the food, service and coffee. We had the Texas Mac, Haddock with green beans... and slice of pecan pie. We could eat the homemade biscuits with apple butter all day! These truckers will be back. Read more
