I was amazed how clean the rooms were. We wanted to eat but unfortunately the restaurant had a fire recently and it wasn't... rebuilt yet. I've stayed at the Roadhouse many times over the years and I've always been happy with the accommodations and thepeople. I'll see you again soon!! Read more
Friendly staff !!! First Room the heater never worked. Had to get staff to operate TV. Not that great of selection on TV. The... second room heater worked but carpet was really dirty. Room just did not feel clean. If you are just looking for a place tosleep it's ok. Not a place you would want to hang out at. Read more
We called in a pizza here 15 minutes before close on our way through town on a road trip. I felt terrible knowing calling 15... minutes before close is terrible form. However, the employees were more than eager for our order, were super pleasant and wehad our pie and were back on the road. Pizza was incredible and toddler approved even, a three year old ate two pieces! Thisplace is very clearly ran by the dedicated and hard working people that keep town like Challis driving forward. Very good. This is a rustic "road house" so you can have a cold beer at the bar or a nice steak at a table. Looks like a dance... floor might be busy on the weekends. They also had a nice outside area that looks to be good for summer outdoor dining. Thesteaks are very good cooked just right. Also hamburgers and sandwiches.
