I happened to be on this side of town picking up an order from Frayed Knot Farm/The Collab and on the way back to the west side... I was in desperate need of a pick me up. After a Google search for cafes nearby buckeye popped up and I figured I?d give it atry especially since I?d rather support an independent business versus a Starbucks or Dunkin? Donuts. They young lady behindthe counter was very attentive and kind. She is also a master barista because this was the fastest latte I?ve ever had in mylife! I was excited when I saw that they could make a lavender oat milk latte (which has recently been my go to) and I could tleave a place named Buckeye Chocolate Cafe without trying some of their buckeyes. If you?re ever in the Bainbridge area and inneed a caffeine fix definitely check this place out! I wish I lived in the area so I could frequent more often. Read more

I ordered the avocado toast to go. They made the toast using the heel of the loaf of bread and it was just not a good piece of... bread, it was a chewy end piece. They also put the heel up with topping over it like I wouldn?t notice. I?m all for not wastingfood but you shouldn?t serve food scraps to customers. This place is the best. The chocolate is truly amazing. I?ve given the truffles as gifts to clients and friends, and they?re... always a hit. The coffee selections are top-notch and are superior to any other gourmet coffee place I?ve visited. On top of allthat, the food is fresh and delicious.
