This restaurant has the best Korean Chinese food in northern Virginia. We've been dining at this place for over a year now and... it's been consistently great. Their noodles are top notch and their entrees have a specific texture that really emphasizes theflavor. I was a little disappointed this time though. Seafood cold noodle was expected find. It reminds me of familiar ?Yang Jang Py? in cold broth. The noodle was very chewy. ... Only side (for my preference) is it?s broth was a bit sweet side. ?Jap Chae Jja Jjang? was good and has interesting texture.Shrimp fried rice was good better than average. Creme shrimp was excellent with big beefy shrimps. Pork tangsooyook may be the best in this area. You almost don't even need the... sauce because it has been fried almost to perfection. No bad odor from pork (common at other restaurants) and I could tell theyused clean oil to fried the pork. This will be my go-to place for this type of Korean food. The food here is amazing, both quantity and quality. Everything we ordered came out very fresh and delicious. If anyone were to... come here I would definitely advise to get their tangsuyuk- it?s probably my favorite I?ve had in this area If I?m in the areaagain I would definitely come back here. I am so glad I found this restaurant! I visit the area frequently and this is a convenient location to have a great spot to eat... at before going home. I have been trying out the main staples of this restaurant and have been thoroughly pleased. I decided towrite this review after eating about four different dishes. Jajangmyun and Jampong are going to be my regulars. The Jampongbroth is so delicious and that is how I can tell this restaurant is good. The staff are so kind and helpful and I likereturning because of the food and people. For anyone new to this restaurant, I recommend the JamJangmyun which is the combomeal that is one half Jampong and one half Jajangmyun (First Picture). For something not noodle based I recommend the Mapa TofuRice dish (Second Picture). Thank you! Read more
We found this place in Google and decided to try it because we were getting a big bored by the usual Korean BBQ and tofu houses... in this area. We were pleasantly surprised by its quality and affordability. Granted that this is more a noodle house than afull-fledged restaurant, it is a great place to have lunch or dinner without having to take a second mortgage. Being Chineseourselves, we have not been impressed by Korean Jjajangmyeon before. However, we do like the version this restaurant offers. The fried dumplings are also quite special.
