Reviews for BONGA ?? in Centreville, VA
Food is not the best and definitely over priced. Ordered 4 dishes and paid 65 dollars. The fried dumplings ($10.99) was... definitely not worth it there is nothing in it except glass noodles. They should definitely consider writing out what thedumplings have inside. Literally no scallions, tofu, veggies, meat - NOTHING but noodles. For a piece of soggy dough which wasnot even cooked all the way with noodles inside is NOT worth $10.99. The carry out box it came in is probably worth more. Thehandmade mild kal gooksoo ($15.99) was also a disappointment the pictures show vegetables with onions squash scallions andcarrots. What I received was broth with very little squash and scallions only. The seafood pancake ($19.99) was mostly imitationcrab meat and greasy dough with scallions. The la bboki ($15.99) just tasted like spicy sesame oil. There was absolutely nodepth to the sauce of spicy/sweet. Not really sure what the rave is all about. Probably one of the worst Korean restaurants Ihave been to. Would NOT recommend. Read more

It?s like going to your Korean grandma?s home for her delicious, authentic meals! This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the... area. I?ve grown up with amazing, authentic Korean food from my mom in Queens and Korea, but this gem will satisfy any Koreancraving I have and impress any of my friends. The people who work there are so kind, there is never a wait, and the portionsare bigger than you would expect with reasonable prices. For my fellow Koreans, this is one of the few places that has ??? andtheir ???? is a MUST in the summer. I selfishly worry about writing this review because as soon as people find out about itit?ll probably become overcrowded with long wait lines and maybe even more expensive prices, but they deserve it and the worlddeserves to know where the good food and kind people are at so here is my review. Very nice service and good food. My boyfriend wanted to try cold noodles with raw skate fish (without even knowing what type of... fish that was). The gentleman working there made sure that he knew what to expect, and told him in case he didn?t like it, justput it aside and they would charge us for a regular cold noodle. The fish turned out to be good, no fishy taste at all! You canalso find it at the touching zone in the Baltimore National Aquarium lol. Read more

Why haven't they been nominated or reviewed by the Washington post yet? It's a local homey restaurant that puts all those high... end tier Korean places to shame. It's traditional food. I haven't found a place that makes ??? ??, but am I glad I stumbled uponhere. You'll find this place travels word by mouth. It's a small little family ran restaurant that packs a big kick, in terms oftaste. Everything here tastes PERFECT. Nothing is watered down, nothing is too salty or oily, it is perfect. The spicykalguksoo is the best in the entire NOVA/DC area. Hands down. Come try it for yourself. The portions are large but it isFLAVORFUL. Haemul pajeon actually has SEAFOOD in it, unlike other Korean restaurants where they put just green onion andbatter. Read more
