It's your typical sports bar, with typical menu and beverage selection. All food was good, hot, flavorful, cooked properly and... tasted better than the other similar spots in the Centre / Leesburg area. We went on a Wednesday and there was live music. I hadthe hot wings, and I gotta say they beat the chains that "specialize" in wings: perfect! Only complaints: the boothes aren'tspaced well and there's hardly room for 4 adults, and there's quite a few seats without a decent view of a screen. Read more
We stopped in The Gridiron for a bite of lunch, and wasn't sure what to expect, partly due to some shady reviews, and partly... because we aren't from the area and had no clue of the reputation. Boy were we surprised! Let me say that my lunch sandwich(The Redneck Reuben) was hands down, the most delicious, melt in my mouth, phenomenal sandwich I have ever eaten. This is nojoke. The brisket was butter tender, the smoked Gouda was thick and gooey, and the Texas toast was buttery. I was floored. TheCorn Nugget appetizer was delicious too, and a HUGE order for two people. My husband had a cheeseburger, and their curly friesand he said it was excellent. Our waitress (I didn't catch her name) was delightful, attentive, and quick to turn in and serveour meals. She was just adorable. We now know when we travel to Centre, THIS is where we will be having our lunch! Something tolook forward to when visiting the area. Read more
The food is amazing, the staff is awesome.
It might not look like much from the outside, but the service and the food were winners. Large portions. I had the redneck... Reuben which includes brisket that is tender and flavorful. I recommend! Read more
These photos are from a few months ago, I forgot to post. We visit this restaurant frequently and the food is great! The buffalo... chicken quesadilla and brisket plate are listed in the pictures below. The brisket was so tender with the best BBQ sauce. This was takeout. On a Friday night wait time was minimal. Restaurant was clean. The Triple Threat Cheese Fries are wonderful. I... love cheese fries and these are the bomb. Potato wedges with queso dip, bacon and green onions. Plenty of ranch dressing fordipping. A great twist on cheese fries. Two thumbs up! The wings were very good, fried just right still juicy, not greasy andcrispy. Packaged so they were still nice and hot when we got home with them. ( about 10 minutes away) Read more
We are from Moody and decided to drive up I-59 and see all the changing colors in Little River Canyon. While there we wanted to... stop for lunch, but didn't want fast food. We saw the Gridiron and gave it a try. My husband and his friend both got a porkplates and enjoyed the BBQ. We girls both had quesadillas and that was the best either of us had ever had.
