This trop is clearly understaffed, but for the amount of customers they had with just the three females that were working on a... Friday night? They did amazing. They were all so polite, the food and smoothies are amazing as always, and they had my food anddrinks out in a pretty timely manner considering the drive-through was completely backed up & there was a line of people insideand only three people working. I have been to almost every Tropical Smoothie in the Dayton area. As I bit into my breakfast wrap, it was very cold. I looked... closer and none of the cheese was melted at all and the egg was cold. Every other one that I?ve been to has been great and thewrap/contents were all cooked. When I walked in, the girl didn?t even greet me and barely had spoken one word. Every other tropical smoothie in the area makes the southwest breakfast wrap so messy. It?s always delicious so I still get it... often but this one has some kind of magic to where it never makes a mess. Seems a bit meatier too. Always friendly, never got anorder wrong, great service. Read more
We give it only 4 stars because the salad and shrimp on the salad were room temp only. Who eats warm shrimp? The chicken and... bacon Flatbread was pretty good but I'd order it without bacon next time because the bacon was soft and I like my bacon moredone. But the window server was a ray of sunshine and the smoothie was great. Overall, we're glad they're here and will comeagain. Read more
I received an offer in the app for a $3.99 Smoothie, and I decided to try the new Hurricane Smoothie with exciting edible straw!... To go with it, I ordered the new Thai Chicken Crunch Island Flatbread and the new jalapeño corn. The Flatbread was extremelytasty-- from the soft, chewy flatbread to the crunchy carrots and wontons to the gooey cheese and fresh scallions and cilantro.The Thai peanut sauce gave it a nice tang along with the grilled flavor of the chicken pieces. I was very pleasantly surprisedwhen I opened the box and dove right in! The corn was crisp and creamy with a bit of "heat" from the jalapeños. I alsoenjoyed the Smoothie (I don't think I've met a Smoothie I haven't liked yet!), right down to the last sugary crunch of theedible straw! I can't wait to return to the "tropics"! ???? Read more
At times it's been good but recently I've gotten attitude about pick up orders, with them not even being started until I walk in... the door and ask. That defeats the entire point of the pick up order ahead, especially if I have to talk to you. And no, itwasn't busy, Google maps even said "no wait" and there were two other patrons at the time, one car in drive thru. I'm sorryyou're overworked and understaffed but if there's an order ahead it's anticipated you don't wait until the last moment to startit. Read more
