Let me start off that service was good! As for the food, it?s the least Mexican food I?ve probably ever had. Got simple tacos... and the meat tasted as if they forgot or ran out of seasoning. Also came covered in yellow shredded cheese which isn?t what Iwould expect. Now to the beans and rice; ordered the ?Mexican? rice and it?s pretty pathetic. So bland and soft/mushy. RefriedBeans were almost ok but were topped with yellow cheese again and very dry. Everybody talks this place up but the food was notworth my money today. Service was excellent, but the food is absolute garbage. Soupy Mexican rice, fajita bowl looks like it was microwaved out of a... fridge for leftovers, wilted lettuce, barely any cilantro rice in it. Pork Quesadilla, the pork tastes amazing, but it?s aslapped together dish and the tortilla is long since soggy by the time it gets to your table. Went for dinner Friday evening. Patrons were out of control drunk, and screaming. My party could not even talk to each other.... Staff was indifferent. Service was slow. 3 out of 4 of our meals were of such poor quality that they were inedible. I will admitmy burger was actually quite good. But overall not an enjoyable experience, will not repeat. They were really patient with our large group, and very efficient. The manager even came out and personally verified some... allergen info for us. The food was pretty good, and I definitely appreciate places that still do complimentary chips and salsa,as it has become pretty rare these days. I got a steak quesadilla and it was good, though there was a bit of fat or gristle hereand there that made a few bites extra chewy. That seems forgivable though, as I knew what I was geting into when I ordered asteak based dish. All the meals were big and pretty reasonable, price wise. I don't eat a lot of the food here because In my opinion the majority of it is mediocher at best. But they do have great... Jamaican Jerked wings. And of course the Bad Juan's are always good. Read more

We go to Elsa's pretty offen and I've been to all of them. I have to say that I prefer their traditional American style food... over their Mexican style food. I love their wings here! They have many choices for craft/draft and bottled beer selections hereand Elsa's Bad Juan's are delicious. However, the chicken in the mexican food is usually dry in my opinion.
