Wholeheartedly giving 5 stars to this wonderful neighborhood gem, and I'd give more if it were possible. Genuinely kind staff... and the absolute best Jamaican food I've ever had, which I've eaten in multiple cities. Curry goat was tender and the flavor wasa party in my mouth. Excellent flavors, perfectly cooked fresh ingredients. These guys really know how to make great tasting and perfectly spiced,... Jamaican style chicken curry, jerk chicken, rice & beans and the fried plantains are the best I?ve had. Portion sizes are hugetoo, especially if you dine in. Grading out a well deserved 5 stars. First timer and I?ll be back again, and again, and again! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Totally makes or breaks... one?s experience. I'd go with 4.5 stars but I've only been here once, so far. Odds are high, I'll return. Modest portions for the price but tasty.... Slow service but friendly. We ate outside and, during an otherwise pleasant time, we had to listen to the nearby car alarms andblasting sound systems (not the restaurant's fault, just a heads up that other patrons don't care how obnoxiously loud they'rebeing, only feet away). I've had some Jamaican food in the past but this was more of a traditional style of cooking and I loved it. Ordered a veggie... pattie got rice and beans as sides. Also ordered the chicken curry with baked Mac and cheese with French fries. Some good musicthe service was timely,hot and fresh at 6pm big up to everyone who contributes to this place. My husband and I stopped in after seeing the amazing reviews here. It was our first time trying Jamaican food. The gentleman who... took our order was so kind and welcoming. He recommended the jerk chicken and goat curry. I always felt like something wasmissing in my life and now I know it was this delicious food. I now feel whole. Painfully delicious. The portions are large and the food is so flavorful and delicious that I was in pain leaving from clearing... my plate of every bite. Worth it! We got the curry chicken and the jerk chicken with the Mac and cheese, rice and beans, andplantains. Everything was fantastic.
