Not a five star experience because they can\'t make nigiri. And then when I complained they acted like there\'s no possible way... I could dislike it because the fish is so great but you know what there\'s more than one component to nigiri and if your rice iscompletely soaking wet with vinegar and doesn\'t even hold its shape then you didn\'t do it right. And they were saying theyappreciate feedback and that they would want to know how to improve like I\'m not an employee here I don\'t know why you\'reasking me how to make nigiri is that was the question like what the heck. And nigiri is my favorite preparation. So I wasdisappointed I came here because it has an overall five-star rating but it is not a five-star restaurant I\'m sorry not sorry. Ispent $200 and walked away disappointed so thank you for the good fish but you need to hire someone who knows how to make somesushi rice because that is a vital component.\n\nThe miso was delicious which there are tons of different types of miso outthere so, I appreciated that. The fish was really good but they had toro listed on the special board and then they didn\'t haveany toro so I was disappointed with that as well and then they offered Bluefin as a replacement as if that is anything liketoro. And I ordered Asahi and they didn\'t know what that was like I just feel like a lot of the employees were a little bituneducated about Japanese food. And the presentation and plating was pretty poor which is funny because I was looking forward tothat having seen some other pictures and we did order the Sashimi Omakase and it was all right as far as the presentation buteverything else was just on the plate by itself like most of the dishes weren\'t even worth a picture because it was so uglyI\'m sorry like do you have any setup for your presentation for any of the other food at all? Just chuck it on a plate. Alsowhoever is in charge of the vinegar in general is just getting carried away because the cucumber salad was e Read more

Stopped at the Tesla supercharger and randomly decided to go in for a bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised by how good Asaka... sushi is!\n\nI am part Japanese and have been someone disappointed by the sushi options in Denver and the metro area. I’m soglad I found Asaka!\n\nThe restaurant is super clean and has a calm atmosphere. The service was friendly and the food was servedpromptly. Most people think sushi is all about the fish but the rice is also very important! The rice was pretty good and wasseasoned appropriately.\n\nThe prices were fair and the fish was fresh.\n\nFor a random strip mall in Centenniel the sushi wasvery good and I will definitely be coming back! Can\'t say enough good things about this place. The sushi is so fresh and the people that work there are delightful. Honestly... the best sushi in the entire area. The Sashimi is so on point. They also serve tea in adorable mugs. Read more

Loved the soundtrack and stylish dining area.\nThe bathroom has some construction issues, however.\nThe floor and windows could... use a good cleaning.\nThe fish was tender, flavorful and a good healthy size cut, however lunch was pretty tiny.. I have a goodappetite as I typically only eat once, sometimes twice a day.\nI had the sashimi and edamame. They were lightly salted andwarm.\nMiso soup came included with my lunch and it was fabulous with a good portion of tofu and seaweed. I came early and thetofu was a little cold, but I get it!\nMinus one star for size of \"lunch\".. See photo! Read more
