Stopped at Lola's Mexican Restaurant with a buddy on our bike tour from Cincinnati to Cleveland. Staff was warm and inviting,... offering indoor or outdoor seating. All the food was excellent with incredibly generous lunch portions. They have several hotsauces available on request and they are all delicious. An absolute hidden gem and highly recommended! Good portions, but blandly flavored food. Chips and salsa were good, but you have to pay extra if you want another bowl of... either. I had the Chicken Chimichanga with rice and refried beans as my main entree. It was huge, but needed seasoning -- or atleast a little bit of salt. The dining room had flies and other flying insects constantly buzzing our table, which wasimmediately a bad sign, but our waitress took our order promptly and was pleasant, although it was a challenge to get any of thestaff's attention after the food was served. Lola's was so delicious! Flavorful without being overly spicy (could have used a little more heat). The chips and salsa were... great and our food was very good. The waiter/owner was very friendly and helpful. The churros for dessert were the best I'veever had!!! Very pleased with the food, service and price. Best Mexican restaurant around!! We drove 30 minutes to get here and it was well worth it. Food was delicious, staff was great,... bathrooms were clean. Oh. My. Word!!! This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. So authentic and delicious. I love their salsa that they... make in house as well as the chips. They use a lot of family recipes, which I love! I'm going to have to keep going back till Ican try everything on the menu! Read more
