Amazing! This was our second time here. First time was in the Fall and staff was so friendly. We just had family visiting from... Texas and it?s now winter time so we brought them. The staff let us use their roads to sled down, they were so friendly andwelcoming. The hospitality was so great and genuine. The food was great, the lodge was cozy, and the scenery was beautiful. My husband and I recently drove along the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway (along Hwy 65) and had the good fortune to stop at the Grand... Mesa Lodge. We were traveling south and planning to stop at the Grand Mesa National Forest Visitor Center; however, when wereached it, we discovered it had closed for the season. So we turned back and drove just a couple of miles to the Grand MesaLodge which was, to our relief, open. The folks at the front desk were warm and welcoming. No matter that we weren?t guests atthe lodge; they invited us to have a cup of coffee in the dining room, browse through their gift shop, and use thebathroom. The common areas of the lodge are warm and hospitable?so inviting on a cold, snowy day. We are grateful to GrandMesa Lodge for providing a true oasis for travelers on the scenic byway! Read more

We stayed in cozy little cabin 7 and loved it. The wood stove kept us warm through the night, but there was still a heater just... in case the stove isn?t your thing. We loved that they allow dogs, so our big guy got to play in the snow. Restaurant was tastyand all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back. Read more

We had our wedding here 4 days ago and it was an unforgettable & wonderful experience. The cabins are basic as expected, but 99%... of our guests were coming in from Illinois and it was such an awesome add on to have us all together in one spot for 2-3 days.As expected the views are spectacular. The lodge was exactly what we were looking for and the ceremony spot was mind blowingbeautiful on our day. Most of the staff was wonderful to work with. Scott was exceptional and hands down deserves 12/10 starsfor ALWAYS going above and beyond to help us. We weren't receiving the best communication and planning at first, but thatcompletely turned around the minute we started working with Scott. As a bride planning a wedding, it cannot be overstated howgrateful I am for him and everything he did for weeks (maybe months?) prior to make sure everything was set for us. And he wasalways beyond pleasant to work with. Read more
