My husband, and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner for out forty-ninth wedding anniversary. The Farmstead is a quaint old farmhouse... from the late 1800's. Ambiance was nice, service was great friendly. Best of all the Food was served hot! We will seek outthis Farmstead in the future as well. Read more

Wow! Best steak I have ever had and I love steak. And it was gluten free, at least I had no issues with it. We waited 1.5 hours... to get to a table and it was absolutely worth every minute of the wait. Read more

Picture don't do it justice. I ordered 22 oz steak I cut it down the middle so that why it looks a little funny. It was juicy... and no A1 sauce was put on this baby. The yummy crisp onion on top this just melted in my mouth. My six year old had eaten mosther fries before I could even take the picture she didn't need to catch up she said they were delicious. And of course she atehalf my steak. Garlic mashed potatoes nice smooth creamy oh I'm just craving it as I'm thinking about it. And their soup wasdelicious it was this Italian sausage at first my daughter turned her nose up on it because it looked green but she took a biteof it and she wanted to steal it from me.She did. Inside was nice and cozy and I wouldn't have found it if I wouldn't have beenfollowing my GPS why because I didn't think the house was the restaurant and let me just say now I know where it is I willdefinitely be back again it is worth a trip. Staff was friendly and nice they gave my daughter toys to play with while we waitedand we didn't wait too long for our food. I am going back with my husband for a date night. This was a cozy little gem I am gladto find. Oh and the carrot cake was just smooth and my mouth . Which again my 6-year-old took it from me and devoured it. Wewent right on the dot at 4pm on a Tuesday had the place to ourselves for a minute . Then came people. The people that came werejust as friendly as the staff. I agree with there sign that basically say coming as strangers leave as friends. If you're comingwith a large group call make a reservation is my suggestion. Don't be afraid to try there special. Started off with a tomato pepper soup which was delicious. The tenderloin steak melted in my mouth and was as great as everyone ... raved it'd be. The cod was over cooked and dry and not very flavorful. Overall the meal and atmosphere was great and the staffwas friendly and did a great job keeping our drinks full. Read more

The farmstead was our first really enjoyable dining experience since moving to the area this week. The restaurant was a bit... confusing to find in the dark since the only visible sign was on the street and it?s located a bit back in the corner of thatturn off behind another building. The hallway entrance was small and cramped. That being said. This place was very hospitableand the food was amazing. Definitely going to recommend it to family when they come visit the new place. It?s a very cozy andcute little place with delicious plates. Read more

Today I learned that Farmstead is another victim of the COVID. I get that every place has its hiccups here and there? but they... aren?t doing themselves any favors when the plan is to intentionally sell you things in styrofoam when you dine in. And plasticcups. Just, why? We went there based at least in part because of the last review that mentioned they were doing indoor diningagain. They are not. You will be seated outside in a screened in area. Which is fine I guess. But still not the greatest ifyou?ve come to know and love what the Farmstead once was. It WAS the place for steaks. Now it?s super far from that. I couldn?teat my dish, it oozed fryer oil everywhere and our ?in training? waitress didn?t know what to do. So we paid, left, and willlikely never be back. Just know, it?s not what it was at all. Frankly, bad and not even edible to some degree. And stillexpensive. Super bummed. Read more
