If I could give it zero stars I would… It’s the worst cut of meat I think I’ve ever had?!. Look at the picture l, that... was a ribeye and it’s all fat!!!???? ($27) I couldn’t even cut it with my knife! (The side of shrimp was cold) Both of ourorders were messed up and the owner who came to talk to us was completely and socially inappropriate, getting so close to myface I could smell his alcoholic breath! Texas Roadhouse is not what it used to be. This is my opinion, ever since, the founder of Texas Roadhouse passed away a few... years ago, it has slipped a few notches. The Pork Tenderloin didn't taste like a Pork Tenderloin, it tasted Old. The food is nolonger spectacular like it once was. On a positive note, our server, Yvonne was nice, friendly, and attentive. OH MAN!!! I cannot tell you how happy I was to sit down in the A/C and start in on a GREAT meal! I went in about 8pm on a... Tuesday. There were several people enjoying their meals when I arrived. I was pleasantly greeted and seated in a few minutes. Myserver was very prompt and courteous. She had my drinks and salad out soon after I had ordered. Then she brought out an awesome8oz sirloin steak ????! WOW! It was cooked exactly ???? like I had asked. It tasted SO good! My drink was never empty. It wasn'ttoo noisy for me either (which I can be picky at times). The meal price was very reasonable. I can't encourage you enough to gohave a great sit down meal at Texas Roadhouse. Had a bone in ribeye with my dad and brother, steak was cooked like I wanted it(medium) but it looked better then it tasted. I... would rather cook for myself/ family personally, But the atmosphere and my waiter made the time enjoyable. Read more
Had to change my review on Texas Roadhouse. My wife and I went on a date here, as we do when we get the chance to. The... experience we had was nothing short of terrible. It was not the servers fault, but the food, cleanliness was terrible. We askedfor a blooming onion as an appetizer and ordered a few burgers ( which was like chewing on leather, toughest burgers I everate). Food came but no blooming onion. We asked about it and got told "I was not made aware we are all out of them". That wasok, but then the servers sit next to us and start getting silverware wrapped up for guests. What I saw was disgusting, they werepulling food and trash out from the bins and still were wrapping the silverware up in the napkins. This by far was worse theneating at Red Robin which your guaranteed to have terrible service. Highly Disappointed in Texas Road House and am not sure if Iwill return. I've eaten a Texas Roadhouse many times and have never had a bad steak there. Tonight was different. All our steaks were... overcooked. Ordered medium. All the steaks were medium well to well and dry. But like I said before, I've never had a bad steakup until this time at Texas Roadhouse and we'll give them another try. The service was great.
