Reviews for Pancheros Mexican Grill in Cedar Rapids, IA
Came at 2pm during my lunch and the damn store wasn't even open. I used to enjoy Pancheros but this place has gone to hell in... the last couple years. I can't have my lunch time wasted so will not be returning. Read more
This place has gone downhill fast. Employees are always screwing around. Food is cold and today every bin was cross contaminated... with other ingredients. The people in front of me ordered burritos and the guy making the tortillas kept messing up and therewere cracking and ripping so he just doubled up the tortillas. I ordered a burrito bowl and the lettuce was brown and the riceand beans were cold. Tables were dirty and the girl at the cash register was rude. I used to love coming here but no more. Read more
Not sure what happened to this location as it used to be better but at least over the last couple years its kind of gone... downhill. The service is usually pretty lack luster, we have had missing ingredients many times, especially with online orders. The last time I went they split my wife's tortilla while rolling the burrito and they replaced hers with a new one. Then splitmine and just wrapped it up and sent it along as is. The staff don't seem to care about the work they are doing. We have sadlystarted driving to the other Pancheros location at the other end of Edgewood (the fountains one) because the results are muchmore consistent and the service is better. Read more
We went on a Sunday around 8 P.M. Saw that it said closed online, but 3 other people went in so we followed suit. The hours were... not correct on Google. They are open 7 days a week until 10 P.M. there were 2 employees as it was the end of the night and theywere both very friendly and helpful. We both got bowls and they were amazing. Way better than Chipotle by the way. Read more
First time buying from this location. Don't think I'll be back for awhile. My tacos were soggy and the cold. I placed the order... online and they still didn't have it ready by the time I got there and had thrown away the receipt. I looked overworked, so Iwon't be too brutal with the review. The cold and soggy tacos were just gross. I'll give them a try after a few months since itcould have just been a bad day. Read more
I?ve walked in here 3 times and 2 out of those 3 I walked back out without food. Same thing has happened both times. I walk in... and am the only one in the whole place. I walk up to the counter and there are employees making an online order. Today it was 4people all working on a single burrito like it was surgery. No one said a single word to me, no one would make eye contact, andthe second they were done with the online order they all went in the back. Like I was standing maybe 4 feet from them and no onewould talk to me. Coming here makes me feel like the invisible man Read more
Went to pancheros and most of the process was fine, but had this particular worker wrapping all of the burritos and tacos. She... didn?t wrap a single burrito like they normally do she just rolled them up. She did this to the person in front of me who endedup wrapping his own. Here?s how my burrito turned out Read more
I like Panchero's, but I've had several issues with service at this location. I had issues with them being out of tofu three... visits in a row, fairly early in the day, which made me think they just never prepared it for the day. I've started orderingahead online when I use this location to make they actually have ingredients ready. Even when I order far in advance, I stillhave to wait several minutes after my pick up time to get my order. The last few times I've been in it's looked like the manageris having a hard time with new employees. I prefer the 1st Avenue location, but I do some work on the south west side of townand use this location when I forget to bring a lunch, hoping each time it will be better. I think I've been through enough timesnow to say my experiences aren't the result of just an off day. Read more
