I have been eating here since last year and I must say, having lived in Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver and now Cedar... Rapids?Rodina is the best fine dining here. The creativity of their menu, quality of ingredients and hospitality are second tonone . This is also the best place for BRUNCH in Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha. Love you guys ! Read more

Food was meh in flavoring - had more flavors in the onions than anything. Food was extremely overpriced - $40 ticket for 2 - 3... set of taco's and a margarita that was on sale. The atmosphere was nice - lots of different things to look at. The service wasgood - asked how food was, checked on drinks, and made sure everything was okay. Read more

Will not disappoint! Authentic food with an eclectic atmosphere. Started with drinks which consisted of a Mexican ashtray &... mango margarita. Perfect blend of alcohol and flavor. My husband & I had different tacos and we were both very pleased with ourchoices, the side was rice & black beans which packed so much flavor in a little dish. We finished with an alcohol infusedcoffee and the flan. The flan had a perfect texture with a smoky flavored caramel sauce. Highly recommend! Read more

Local favorite for a unique twist on tacos & Mexican cuisine. We tried the featured pork Kofta tacos which were very interesting... with a quail egg on top and the side of rice & beans are always flavorful. The Elotes were actually one of my favoriteappetizers & I couldn?t resist following it up with the Tamarind-Chile Pelotas which were amazing with every bite! Yum! Thankyou a call out for the amazing mock tails & alternative drinking options! I appreciate you! The service here & servers arealways professional, friendly, & helpful! Read more

Overpriced. Salsas were decent, the "chips" were just dry, baked tortillas. The tacos were a miss, very bland. Average service,... kinda pretentious. Read more

Honestly, I'm usually pretty good about taking photos of the dish I order, but this time was different. My eyes made contact... with the enchiladas and queso fundido, and I just lost it. I devoured both delicious dishes (with my partner) before I couldremember to take a photo. What I'm getting at is this place has FANTASTIC food, and looks absolutely beautiful. Highly highlyrecommend stopping by here for a drink and bite to eat! Read more

Interesting place if you're visiting the area. The sister restaurant in town was better, but this is definitely an upscale... unique Mexican place that was surprising for IA! Get the horchata- it's not quite traditional but still great. Read more

Well what do you know? Cedar Rapids has a fine dining experience worth looking forward to. I tried Caucho a couple years ago,... it was fine but lackluster. Not bad just not anything worth going back for. Something has happened though and they are ontheir game now. Five of us at dinner tonight, fairly busy but not overly so. We were seated right next to the kitchen, whichwas great, I like seeing what's going on. We weren't there for more than 10 minutes before I noticed that the staff weresmiling and seemed to be enjoying their work.....a good sign. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and pleasant AND genuine. We ordered some drinks (house made not mix-made margaritas) and appetizers. Chicharrones: These were light and tasty. I wouldhave preferred a shade of seasoning other than salt but they were well made. I wasn't impressed by the guajillo sauce but itwas fine. Chips (housemade) with verde asado and rojo salsas. Salsas were excellent with the Rojo beating out the asado by abit. Pozole stew: I'd go back for this alone. The broth was rich and light at the same time, meat was tender. I thought thehominy was a shade tough but not problematic. Fantastic. Entrees Chilaquiles: this was very good. Had I not also tasted afew other items I might have been more impressed. Very good flavors, nice presentation. Carne tacos: the best taco I've evereaten. Period. Niman Ranch beef. The other reason to go back, if there were no other. Dessert Churros and Chocolate: wellit's not an amusement park churro, light and airy but custardy with a killer sauce. The other standout? They make their ownmasa from dry corn to make the tortillas. Keep up the good work. Best place in CR and probably IC. Read more
