SW Cedar Rapids? we tried this place after reading reviews online. It?s a little out of the way if you?re not from that side... of town. It was a weekday, we arrived about 9:30 a.m. they were busy but not packed, looked like they plenty of help. Breakfast was delicious, but we waited almost an hour for it. Seriously almost an hour after being seated immediately. Whenwe alerted the server we wanted to cancel our order (because of the LONG wait) she told us ours was the next order out. Westayed. The food was great but overall experience (unless you have an hour to kill) will probably not be a do again. Hopeyou?re experience is better. Read more

Driving through Cedar Rapids and stopped in for breakfast. Hubbies had the sunrise griddle cakes, I had the peach cobbler... pancakes. Both were awesome. Had smiling faces waiting on us. Sorry they are so far from home. Read more

Ok I'm a little confused I just posted a review of this place a few minutes ago I thought I it reviewed that and posted it a... long time back but it came up so I hit save just in case it was not there this is a new one. This time had Reuben with fries. Ilike this one too I have a good breakfast and good Reubens. It wasn't too heavy on the Thousand Island that was good corned beefwas good and the bottom piece of bread was slightly soggy but not bad overall I really enjoyed it and I would recommend theRubens to anyone who comes there. It must have been a birthday of the owner because she had flowers on the counter by the cashregister that was fun. Apparently she's been working there for 20 years maybe. Is the daughter is working there and likesworking there. That would be cool if that restaurant would be taken over by the Next Generation. Read more

We have a mixed review. My husband ordered an omelette, which he loved. It was cooked well, came hot, as ordered, and filled... the plate. Not so for me. I ordered eggs Benedict with out the ham, add spinach and tomato. Unfortunately, the poached eggswere overcooked, the hollandaise sauce was lumpy, and our waitress never came back to check on us to make it right. When we wentto check out, the waitress did not apologize but DID offer to take the eggs off. By then, I felt it was too little too late. Thus the 3 stars. You decide what you will accept. Not the worst experience, but not the best for Father's day. Read more
