Went in for Mother's Day for the first time. The food was okay, service was fine. The upcharge on the fries wasn't worth the... quantity I got for it. Didn't see the Non-Cash Convenience Fee until after we left. We had the cash. It might have only been$1.44 but didn't appreciate not being told about it. Don't push this fee to your customers. Was visiting Iowa to visit family and while passing through Cedar Rapids to fly back to Florida, I was recommended to check out... 30hop. For starters, there is quite the excellent beer selection, of what appeared to mostly be of Iowa breweries (including oneof my favorites from down the road - Big Grove). Coming in on a weekday for lunch, it wasn't too busy but was the perfectopportunity for a few beers along with a bit to eat. Food was tasty and the service was good as well. Had the Ahi poke bowl with the dynamite sauces. Pretty much a huge sushi roll in a bowl. It was amazing! Very nice beer... selection as well. Sat at the bar and all the staff were friendly and check on us often if we needed anything. The environmentwas laid back. Plenty of room, we didn't feel crowded and loved the lighting. I want to give five stars but ultimately tiny details made it a high 4 stars rather than a low five. Mostly the fact that it is... not kid friendly. The kids option are not available on the menu. And are just fried stuff, nothing healthy or out of theordinary. For the adult food, to be fair it was fantastic. The staff was super helpful and dedicated. It was a littlepricey. But the terrasse was fantastic. Hard decision to give a four stars. Read more
