Thursday around 6:30 and out of brisket. Ordered a sausage sandwich and waited 15 minutes. I was given a jalapeño sausage... sandwich and I never said ?jalapeño? when I ordered. I was told it would take another 15 minutes to get the regular sausagesandwich. Slow and staff was in-attentive. I can?t rate the food because I just asked for my money back and left. Read more

8-22-22 at 5:30pm- Food was great. 3-meat combo and 2 sides: Ribs, brisket and pork loin with pinto beans and potatoe salad.... Added: mac n cheese, green beans and banana pudding. Sweet tea to drink. Young lady working behind the counter was awesome!Greeting everyone walking in and when leaving, having conversations with everyone and remembering names, helping carry tray outfor customer, walked dining room to check on everyone asking how everything was and if needed any to-go stuff. She's part ofreason I'd come back! She was doing most stuff herself and with a happy-go-lucky attitude, loved it! Food is good. However, public relations with your customers can either make or break it? in this case the later. This morning,... the cashier in general that was serving today, RUDE. A disappointment for anyone but especially a regular who is now going to betaking their business and money elsewhere. I'd advise you to do the same. Read more
So we tried the barbecue at a different place outside our regular rotation that my other half wanted to try. We were... disappointed. The brisket was bland at best. For me, I have had better from a Costco refrigerator meal. Same for the sausage.The pork ribs lacked favor. The ribs honestly reminded be of tamale meat, but less flavor. I tried to improve on the flavor withthe barbecue sauce, but unfortunately it provided no help. The green beans were no better. The best thing out of the bunch forme was the boiled red potatoes. You could tell the potatoes were boiled in salt water and tender. The staff were kind, patient,helped navigate the menu options quite well, and though empty, was clean. When we entered, there was a bit of a rush, which theteam handled quite well for a 8:15 PM visit. So.. if most barbecue is too spicy for you (like Salt Lick, Terry Black?s, orSouthside) then this may be an option for you. Read more
