New Nice And Clean Hip place to go for Ramen. And when I mean hip, you don't even order at the front desk, you scan QR Code and... order & pay directly via the app. The only thing missing is some cool decor, I might have missed it but it could have eitherused some Texas/Japanese or Anime themed like Decor. The customer service is very nice, maybe a little bit un-attentive butthat's ok, we got drinks. Ordered the Tonkotsu Tan Tan that is spicy and how I likes my Ramen. The Tonkotsu broth came outnice and hot, the pork broth rich and full of flavor, and the spice had a nice kick to it, not overly spicy for me. The Porkchashu is nice soft and charred, I liked it very much. I'm not fond of small noodles so they are ok for me, if you've had Ramenin L.A. or N.Y., you get some nice slightly bigger hearty noodles. Eating small noodles just reminds me of eating InstantRamen which I don't eat out for. Good spicy Ramen broth, noodles not for me. Overall: prices are good, variety of brothoptions, close to me, comes out hot, overall execution of food is good, I will always find these qualities are way better thanR.T. Not the best Ramen I've had but worth a try. Read more

I recently ate here with friends while visiting Austin. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu and chicken karaage. The tonkotsu was... actually pretty spicy thanks to the paste and the chashu was fall apart tender. The karaage was very juicy and the mayo was theperfect condiment! I really enjoyed my meal here! Real rating is 4-4.5 We ordered classic tonkotsu and spicy tonkotsu. I preferred the spicy tonkotsu. Egg and pork cooked... perfectly and grat portion bc I was full after. My friend had a no pork dietary restriction and they were very accommodatingwith offering chicken broth with chicken. We ordered thru the QR code on the table. Also ordered the Japanese sparkling juiceand it's like a nonsweet lemonade. Read more

I don't know why I waited until now to try this place. I used to think Ramen Tatsuya was the closest to the tonkotsu I ate in... Japan but this place is much better. Also, their broth is not overwhelming salty at the end. Please try their delicious tsukemen(I think it's only seasonal) This has become my favorite ramen in Austin. Read more

SO DELICIOUS! I?ve tried many ramen places here in Texas but this by far is one of the best. The noodles taste so fresh & the... broth isn?t to creamy to where you get full fast, I usually never finish my bowls but I did here. Unfortunately I don?t thinkthere?s one closer to me but I will definitely be back here! Read more

The star of our visit was the Karaage. I ordered the Tonkotsu Tan Tan. It was really good. The chashu, egg and and broth were... spot on. I liked the noodles but I?ve had better in Japan. Have yet to eat the perfect noodle here in Austin. My friend orderedthe classic Tonkotsu. Hers was good and she liked it but the soup was too bland for me. I really liked the spiciness of the TanTan. Overall a really good meal. Read more

Ramen 512 has the best Ramen in town and will definitely make you want to go back! I'm already thinking about our next trip... there. The broth is so good and authentic. Everything is made from scratch by the chef, except for the noodles is what I wastold. Bone broth is made in house and it has just the right amount of everything and not greasy! Price is on the higher sidebecause of all the effort and thoughts that went into making the perfect bowl of Ramen noodle soup, but it's so worth it. Alsoit's actually really filling because they give you a lot of food! I ordered a Signature Shoyu with extra Chashu ($18 + tax), myhusband ordered a Tonkotsu Tan Tan ($16 + tax). The service is great, they let you choose your own table and they serve wateras soon as you are seated. Self service style ordering system, i.e. scan the QR code, see menu, order and pay on their website, truly a no-brainer as long as you have a smartphone! Honestly it's so convenient, you don't have to worry about waiting in lineto pay, splitting the bill with friends, or touching a menu in the age of Rona. ;) They welcome dine in and takeout. Plenty ofparking spots available on site. We went on Sunday late morning and it's not crowded at all but was told that it was pretty busyon Saturday. Advice is plan strategically so you can enjoy the food and experience because I foresee this Ramen spot gettingpopular very quickly because of how good the food is! Read more
