Reviews for Max's Fusion & Bar in Cedar Park, TX
Max?s Fusion turned out really well! My wife and I did an assortment of small plates. The grilled eggplant was surprisingly... good. The ahi tuna and baby back tamarind ribs were good as well. ? Our friends joined us for drinks and we had several oldfashioned cocktails that were a sort of deconstructed cocktail and used different Japanese whiskeys. Really worked out well. ?At the close of the night, I?m pretty sure it was the owner, offered us a taste of coming attractions: grill at the table beefwith an amazing sauce. So much fun. ? This place is great. Totally worth a try and I think they?ve got a lot of great thingscoming. ? Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Read more
We were blown away by how good the food was! The Shrimp with Ginger-Infused Fried Rice was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. We enjoyed the flavors... of the lemongrass baby back ribs too! Read more
We wanted to try something new AND different than the usual places we eat. (We eat out several times per week and have tried... almost every restaurant around.) We found Max?s on Google and decided to give it a try.\nWow! This was a memorable first visit. Right off the bat, the staff was very friendly and seated us quickly. We really liked the ability to order from our phone at ourown pace. (Some may not like this but we did!) The food came out quickly and was very hot.\nI am not exaggerating when I sayevery small plate we ordered was different and absolutely delicious. This is NOT your usual Asian fare.\n\nWe struck up aconversation with Tom (the owner?s dad) and learned more about how the restaurant came to be. This is a family operation and somuch of themselves is evident in the food and service. We also talked to Tom?s wife and learned more about Vietnamese cuisineand the French influences in her recipes. I don?t remember all the names of the dishes (see pics) but each one was unique. (Trythe meat-filled pastry filled with sauce! You?re welcome). The food is definitely the highlight\n\nThey also serve Japanesewhiskeys which I have never had. Tom invited me to taste two additional whiskeys from their collection. They are very unique andrefreshingly different from U.S. and European whiskeys. If you enjoy whiskey, you definitely must try.\nWe left with such agreat experience that we have been telling all our friends and family about it. We will definitely be back soon!\nThank you Tomand family for opening such a great restaurant in our area! You all truly have something special! Read more
Everything about this place was great. The proprietors were friendly and engaged, the food was delicious, the plating was great,... the cocktails were unique, and the app based ordering system made it all a breeze. They also had a nice little patio area. Ifyou like Thai food, you\'ll love this place as they have some variations (Fusion) that really put a unique spin withoutcompromising those tried and true components. Try the eggroll wraps and the short-ribs! Read more
