Reviews for 1431 Cafe in Cedar Park, TX
This is a solid breakfast joint if you're looking to head out for breakfast in Cedar Park. They have a wait for a reason - it's... good. The friendly & efficient staff handle the crowd well and move tables quickly. Sausage gravy is well made and quitetasty. Portion sizes are Texas-worthy, so bring your appetite! Read more
This is one of the biggest and best club sandwiches around. Tons of thick sliced bacon and fresh sliced tomatoes set it over the... top. The whole-wheat bread was just a little over toasted today but it was still all in all very good and more food than mostpeople could finish during one meal. Read more
I wanted to like this place because it?s local and the staff is so nice but it was a very mixed bag on my last visit. I got... pancakes, sausage links, breakfast potatoes, and coffee. Pros: the coffee was hot, strong, and very good. The sausage links hada nice snap to them and good flavor. My server at the bar was super friendly and did a great job. Cons: the pancakes were notat all fluffy. They were hard, dense, and flavorless. Sadly, my kids can make better pancakes from a box mix. The potatoes wereclearly frozen squares of potato that had been halfheartedly reheated. They had no flavor or texture. Would have been so muchbetter if they were made in house from fresh potatoes. It wasn?t as clean or tidy as I would want in a restaurant. The front andback of the bar were both total disaster areas. I doubt I will go back as I can get good coffee many other places. Maybe someof their other food is better but I didn?t get the yummy pancake breakfast I was hoping for. Read more
If you want high quality food with a small diner feel then 1431 Cafe is the perfect place! It was unbelievable the fantastic... customer service we encountered and the portions were huge and packed with flavor. We had the chicken salad sandwich (Best oneI've ever had), 1431 club sandwich, fried okra, and the footlong corn dog for kids. It was heavenly!!!!! Can't wait to go back!! Read more

The staff were all very friendly, the food was pretty good. The only downfall were that my eggs and potatoes were cold by the... time my plate made it to the table. My cup of coffee never went empty and our waters were almost the same. Overall, I'd givethis place another try if I was in the area again. Read more
When I was a girl I?d watch a TV show about a diner and always want to go to one like on TV Cafe 1431 is just such a place. The... waitress is genuine and called everyone ?sweetie? and provided great service! She was awesome. Now let?s talk about the food. The coffee was strong and hot. They are known for their eggs Benedict and I can see why! Excellent pancakes too! A great littleplace to get real cafe food and good ?ol Texas service. Expect delays as they may be short handed, just like lots ofrestaurants. Read more
It's a decent brunch place. During weekends the place is always full so please expect some wait time. The service in this... restaurant is really good. They were cordial to us and waitress went through the menu and addressed our queries patiently. Weordered French toast, pancakes and Benedicts. Country chicken Benedict was good. i felt redneck Benedict more cheesy, cheesedominated the gravy and I couldn't taste other flavors. The sausage was well cooked. I was told it is a popular dish, it couldhave been better. Pancakes it was decent I have tasted more fluffy pan cakes it was not up to the mark. The most disappointingone was the French toast one of the bread was burnt and crispy it wasn't soft. I wouldn't recommend French toast here. Theportion of the food was very significant. Over all top notch service and decent food. Read more
