First time coming here and we decided to give this a chance. So glad we did!! The loaded fries was off the chain amazing. I got... the Blackened Mahi Mahi fish sandwich and it was perfect. I got a side of the zucchini fries and sadly they were over cooked andnot very good at all. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and he said it was one of the best he has ever had. Our waitress had a wonderful personality! Got my daughter to order 1st which in her shyness, she won't do! We ordered an array... of appetizers, all delicious. Great margaritas and my daughters drink was yummy! Obviously a great view but the atmosphere andfood and drinks is definitely what I'd return for! Very dog friendly. Has a special menu for the fur animals. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk up. They... gave your animal a large water bowl right away. Plenty of outside seating with large fans to stay cool. The clams are worth theappetizer and a frozen Miami vice to stay refreshed. If you want a nice place to have lunch and relax this place is the spot togo. Read more

This is a great place to eat on the water. It's elevated so you have a nice view from the outdoor porch. I ordered the Mahi... tacos and they came out quickly from the kitchen. The fish was great and the toppings complimented it very well. I also tastedthe chicken tenders and coleslaw, both were great and very fresh. OMG where do I start? Hands down the best burgers on the island! I just had the fish tacos and they were out of this world! The... atmosphere has a really cool vibe to it and the view is breathtaking... The owners are very awesome people who are so down toearth that you would think they were customers!! This was our first time to the Tipsy Cow. We normally eat at the other places in Cedar Key but after a down turn in food we... decided to explore our options. We really enjoyed the view from the restaurant, the food was not fancy but was tasty and servedhot and fresh and the service was good. We had the Buffalo Cheese Fries for an appetizer. They were very good and the chickenwas grilled. Just the right amount of Buffalo sauce and the fries were fresh and very hot. We thought the price of $13.99 wasa little high but not bad for what you got. I had a fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich came out piping hot and it wasseasoned and cooked perfectly. To many places cook the chicken to long and dry it out. This sandwich had a thick breast on itand not the kind where you just get breading. My wife had a blackened Maui Sandwich. She was not disappointed with the amountof fish served on her sandwich. The fish was blackened perfectly and not overpowered to where you couldn't taste the fish. Youcan choose to sit inside which still allows you a fantastic view through the open windows in the dining room or you can seatoutside and take in the view from the deck. This restaurant is local owned and is a great place to catch a nice lunch on thewater. We would have given 5 stars but the restaurant was out of several items which we understood. We will be back.
