My wife and I had just returned home from a 2 night stay at Cedar Key. After eating for a couple of times at the Steamer as we... were in Cedar Key, I was tempted to try out another place to eat. I chose Duncan though I had read reviews about it's a bitpricy. It really turned out to be a big mistake. We found everything on the menu was at least 12% more than the Steamer. My wifeordered the Caesar salad with grouper and I ordered the fresh grouper fingers. The service was great but both of our dishes werenot as good as the Steamer at all, in quality, quantity, and taste. We had our dinners at about the same time at the Steamer andDuncan. The Steamer was packed while it was almost empty at the Duncan. It explains.. . Considering the price of the food wehad, I can only give it a 1 Star. Read more
I have eaten here a few times over the past couple years. This was my first breakfast. It was excellent, but then again I am a... creature of habit and always get the same thing for breakfast. Two eggs over medium, sausage patties, home fries and toast. Mywife had the veggie skillet. Read more
Location has a nice view where you can see the passing boats and watch people catch fish on the local pier. Food was amazing!... Hot, fresh and served reasonably fast. Server was friendly and accommodating. We wanted the dinner menu and it was to early butshe made it happen. Will definitely go back. Bathrooms where clean and overall a great experience. Read more
We absolutely loved this place. Vickie is a fabulous server and bartender. She was doing both jobs and doing them very well. She... was personable, we really enjoyed talking with her. The food was fantastic. My husband is not a real seafood person but went outon a limb and ordered the blackened mahi tacos. He was so happy he did, he loved them. I had the grouper fingers, blackened. Igot the sauteed veggies as a side. I was in love, so so good. Definitely can't wait to back. Right on the water, sat and watchedthe gulf. My 90 yr old grandma couldn't make it up the steps to Steamers so last minute we decided to eat here. The atmosphere was nice... and our waitress was good. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the crab cakes and calamari. My dad and grandma got the Cod(fish & chips basket) and my mom ordered the Gulf shrimp basket. Everything was devoured lol Downstairs at the bar they had livemusic that sounded great. Would recommend this place to anyone. Read more
