New to the area and of course on top of our priority list has been exploring the local restaurants. I get the feeling Greenside... is the kind of place with a rock solid local reputation already, but I'm happy to throw my hat on the pile. Delicious, very welldone general American fare with some interesting options, and of course New Mexican favorites. The chicken fried steak isdefinitely big enough to serve two and tasty enough for you to want it all to yourself. Service was top shelf, atmosphere wasboth local and very inviting. Beautiful views, amazing food and a friendly staff. Really can't beat a meal here. Try the brisket quesadillas!! The burgers are... also amazing ???????? oh and don't forget the sweet potato fries ????and if wasn't cool enough you can scan your ticket andpay???????? Read more
Best sweet potato fries I've EVER had. And I've had my share. Everything else is tasty af too. But sweet potato fries. Get them.... Trust me. Service is great too ???? Hadn't eaten here in a couple of years. Was happy to see the quality of the food is still great. I ate the chicken fried steak.... It did not disappoint! Totally tender, very flavorful and complimented well with the fresh seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes.My husband had the Friday Fish Fry special. He enjoyed it, but was disappointed in the clam chowder. Having just eaten plenty ofNew England clam chowder in Maine, it's probably not fair to compare it to that, but we did. My son enjoyed his chickenenchiladas with Christmas chile and we brought home peach cobbler which was super delicious! I love that there are menu itemsfor many different tastes and all are presented well. We'll be back again soon for another visit! Read more
Greenside Cafe is a pleasant and small restaurant. Our server was very engaging and enjoyable. Her knowledge of the menu was... very good and we enjoyed her humor she displayed to us. It was our first visit and we enjoyed the interior and food there. Theonly major issue was the missing raspberry sauce for the Sangria de Cristo sandwich. That issue was resolved quickly andcorrectly. I highly recommend their Korean Fried Chicken aka The KFC. It is very flavorful and has a spicy bite that engagesyour taste buds without torturing them. Even for people like me who enjoys spicy foods, this sandwich is very well balanced intaste. We will be returning to check out other menu choices. They do have a selection of local brewery choices to choose from.That is a huge plus along with the flavor of the choices we made there. Keep up the excellent work. Read more

Greenside Café is a comfortable spot on the ?green side? of the Sandia Mountains in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. My wife and I came... for a Mother?s Day brunch and sat on the patio. The sun was shining and there was a nice cool breeze. Our waitress, Mary, wascourteous and prompt. My wife had the chicken enchilada plate and I had the Huevos Rancheros Fried Steak. We both found ourchoices delicious! Fresh and hot with the perfect amount of New Mexico spice. I?d never had Huevos Rancheros with a chickenfried steak before and found that it is a very good combination! Well done, Greenside! Read more
Very nice restaurant with great, friendly service and good food. My only minor complaint is their coffee, which is a bit watery... and tasteless, but hardly worth mentioning. Would certainly recommend. Read more
