Should have read the reviews on this location before we stopped here. We LOVE Cafe Rio, and when I say love if we had to pick... something to eat the rest of our lives it would be Cafe Rio. We love the sweet pork. 1st there was like 10 employees and not onegreeted even as we were standing in line (no biggie brushed it off) then I order 2 Sweet Pork salads - usually the employee willmelt a little cheese on the tortilla but he didn?t, so I requested it on the next. He left that tortilla on the grill until itwas basically a cheese crisp and then put the salad on the Burt tortilla. The sweet pork was super runny- I have never seen itso liquid. The lettuce was out, the pico was out, the house sauce was super low. We chose house sauce was the dressing and onlygot 1 for 2 salads. It just felt like a run-down Cafe Rio and the employees had no direction or constructive help.. we had to goback through the drive through after we realized we only got 1 dressing instead of 2. Great customer service from the cashier and kitchen crew! Very patient although they seemed a little rushed and didn't make you... feel very comfortable when browsing the toppings/mix-ins. I could understand working here and dealing with locals who know whatCafe Rio has to offer day in and day out. As a first timer, I felt rushed. The food was great. My boyfriend and I both got twotacos, which come with rice and your choice of black or pinto beans. They do offer one taco meals, and that would have sufficedbecause they're pretty filling. I ordered the pork barbacoa (entirely too runny, oily, and sweet) in one taco and shreddedchicken in the other. The chicken was pretty great! I regret not getting chicken in both tacos. My boyfriend ordered a new, seasonal meat called pollo asada. Think chicken, but with a flavorful, lightly citrus taste. He also ordered the horchata(Mexican rice drink) and that was pretty good as well. We also got the chips and salsa which were fresh and crispy and the salsais one of my top 3 that I've had. I have no idea what was in the beef tacos we ordered ????. I think it was a part of the cow that shouldn?t be eaten. Seriously... disgusting. Will never eat here again. Read more

They have amazing sweet pork and I loved them the first time I went. I would?ve gave 5 stars. They have enchilada sauce and they... sang ?that?s the way? when they gave it to you. I don?t mind that they didn?t sing this time, but they didn?t have the sauce. They also couldn?t explain if they ran out or what the deal was. They were very rude and I felt like they wanted me to get outof line when we asked about the sauce. He was really rude when I asked for sour cream too and couldn?t care less about any ofthe customers. Must hate his job. The energy was really bad and I don?t really want to come back again after that experience. Read more

Chipotle style - choose whether you want taco, burrito, salad, nachos, then choose the meat, sauce and additional... toppings. Slightly pricey for what it is - $14.02 for nachos w/ lime beef and soda, but they did give a lot of chips. (I didn'thave guac nor sour cream nor other add-on extras.) Taste was just ok. Meat was concentrated near the center - could useslightly more. Chips was somewhat close to being stale but edible still. I think they charged me for the salsa verde but themenu said I get to pick my sauce. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor (shaded) but some tables needed to be wiped.Overall not terrible, but the flavor was still not there. Quick service. Plenty of parking. Read more

This was my first eating at Cafe Rio and it reminds me of Chipotle. The only exception is Chipotle has more choices in terms of... toppings. Flavor-wise the burrito was pretty good. Definitely not the size of a Chipotle burrito. Read more

Filthy, disgusting. The food was horrible, not to temperature. The bathrooms are sickening. The roof was leaking. I will never... stop here again. Look at the floors, the tables, the drink area. I'm sure the response will be that the manager will be notifiedand this will be a training opportunity. This place is way past a training opportunity. It needs to be shut down before someonegets sick. There are several reviews about the lack of cleanliness at this restaurant. Why is nothing being done? Read more
