I have been here twice in the past couple of weeks. I took a friend out to dinner, and we enjoyed it so much, I took someone... else to lunch here the next week. The service was very good both times. I really enjoyed the ambiance- it is attractivelydecorated, and well lit without being overly bright. Even when it was full, it wasn't too loud. I really liked the twosandwiches I got. The first was definitely my favorite- it was a grilled chicken sandwich with crab dip on top. Delicious! Thesecond time I tried the Catonsville BLT, pictured here. That was also very good. My first friend had nachos, and second friendhad a burger, and both were enjoyed. The fries are nice and crispy, too. Obviously, I would return here, and recommend it! Read more
Restaurant with private room available for rental; we attended for a baby shower. Food was delicious. I had the pot roast... sandwich. Wife had crab cakes. Indoor decor is neither old-fashinoned nor modern, but a standard, comfortable layout. Maindining room had lots of natural light while the private room was dark--that is something I like, to be clear. There is a fullbar with a decent selection of liquor, modern mixed drinks, and beer on tap. Price of drinks was excellent; a double Bourbon,Scotch, and 2 beers only set us back $45, which in today's financial reality is good. The best experience being Google influencer is exploring what unbeknownst to me. Passed Matthew's 1600 many times, the parking... lot was packed, today I decided to turn left. Impressive and elegant entrance, greeted the top of the stairs, courteoushostess, sharp and impressive waiter, food appetizing, looked delicious and tasted heavenly. Afterwards, the fascinatingstructure of Matthew's 1600 fancied my curiosity by checking outdoors. Amazingly beautiful was the patio decked out landscapeawaiting outdoor experience. Beautiful evening out. Went to dinner tonight at Matthew's1600, in an outdoor area they call their 'alley' (between the... restaurant and an old trolley line converted to a walking trail). Server was taking photos - at least our DRINKS made it totheir Facebook post. Oh, well - we enjoyed it. Food was very good, served promptly, and not cold. Plenty of variety on themenu. Atmosphere in the outdoor dining area (the 'alley') was excellent. Service was very good, and it was not crowded. Typical single Dad on Fathers Day, I didn?t plan appropriately. Showed up at the restaurant in attempts to place a carry out... order for the family. Restaurant was slammed and wasn?t excepting any more carry out orders. Alicia sensed my frustration/panic, stepped up, and took care of the customer.. This place was great. Never had heard of it before but some friends recommended it. Small little place on the second floor. Food... was excellent, pricing was average for a restaurant. They offer a flight of crushes which were phenomenal. Never had key limecrush so that was a very interesting take. Atmosphere is nice, staff was extremely pleasant. Most patrons were masks as theycame in. The staff does not, so if that's a concern I wouldn't come here. Anyone else though should try this place out. Read more
It was our first time here. ( someone told us about this place) so we decided to try it out. Our waitress Maxine was very... pleasant. The appetizers were really good. My husband had the crab cake. Although it was smaller than what we're used to gettingfrom other restaurants, he said is was pretty good. I wish they had Lamb chops on the menu, but they don't(which are my fave)So, that's why I opted to just get appetizers. We'll most likely return! It was a cool , relaxing vibe! Read more
